It was a great idea to grab a cup of tea and bagel sandwiches for breakfast here instead of other places. The service was good and bagels were fresh. Reasonable prices are also big plus!

A Boone fave. It’s been here forever. Food is good and staff is so friendly. Awesome location on King St. with outdoor seating. Lunch has gotten pricey but we will keep going every time we are in town.

Ok… hate to complain BUT when you charge $5.00 for a 10 oz bottle of Apple Juice and $4.00+ for a cup of black coffee – you are seriously price gouging customers! Food/bagels were good and reasonably priced but the drinks were ridiculous. You don’t even pay $4.00 for it in a gas station/convenience store?!

It used to be a favorite, until I had 20 minutes to reconsider it. The bagels at this place are average. I understand it’s Boone and things move slow but prepared for an excruciating 20-minute wait to get a simple bagel with cream cheese. The slow service is frustrating, possibly due to the lollygagging behind the counter. Don’t visit this place if you’re in a hurry; they seriously need to improve their efficiency. Overall, the experience left me underwhelmed and questioning the value of my time spent waiting for a mediocre bagel.

Please please please get a more professional manager than Aleisha(not sure on the spelling). After sending out a $60 order that we get when in town, they sent out a cold bagel with no butter. No problem at all, let’s just fix it. The manager, Aleisha took the cold bagel and proceeded to spread cold butter on it. She said it was fine. Then I heard her walk away and start talking to the gentlemen in the kitchen making bagels about how ridiculous it is that a customer would want their order correct. Weird. Sincerely, a restaurant manager in a busy tourist town who thrives on customer service and making sure employees of mine do the same. I figured leaving a review would possibly reach the owners, because when asked any questions, Aleisha was very rude. Please please do better so we don’t have to not return.

Went on Sunday of a holiday weekend and I don’t think they anticipated just how horribly crowded it would get. We waited a long time and managed to snag a table just as it was vacated, and it took a very, very long time to get food. That said, it was amazing food and the drinks were INCREDIBLE. Our server was wonderful and sweet. We did have little issues, like getting a drink in the wrong size and the other had the wrong flavor, but they were good anyway. It was clearly because they were so overrun. I doubt they’d have any mistakes at all on a normal day.

The place with the line out the door on the weekends… every time I visit Boone I want to give it a try but I’m usually too hungry to wait that long for a bagel. This time I finally waited in line to have a seat and give them a try. I ordered the bagelicious and when it came out I was a little surprised because I thought it came overstuffed. That was my mistake, I misread the menu, I saw “overstuffed” following the end of the description and then the price. The bagel sandwich was good, nothing against the food or restaurant, I just don’t think the wait on the weekend is worth any bagel. The hostess was very friendly and explained the line situation. The dining area inside is small and apparently it’s better during the week but on the weekend you get a heavy mix of locals and visitors. You can also call in your order to go which was good to know. Their reuben’s on the lunch menu came highly recommended to me so I’ll probably stop in again on my next visit to give them a try. All in all, food was good, iced latte was good, but expect to wait on the weekend.
