I stopped here while I was in town a couple of weeks ago at the suggestion of a friend. The customer service was awesome! The man was helpful in assisting me with customizing my order because I eat plant based. I read a review that said vegan “options” but it’s more like “option.” Not a plethora. The atmosphere was going on a Friday night! Super busy with an average weight time. However, the staff were turning out those pizzas and taking orders like nobody’s business ! Shoutout to them! The pizzas are on the expensive side. However, my pizza tasted great! Parking is tricky so just park in the garage if need be. I’d go back again. Enjoy!!

I haven’t been this conflicted about a restaurant in a very long time, but Boom’s made both some of the best and worst food I’ve had all year. Starting with the former, the pizza was delicious – the dough was chewy and flavorful, if also a tad thicker than I generally prefer. All of the pizzas were great, but the cheesy garlic was the clear winner for balance and taste, combining as it did caramelized garlic with fresh herbs. Of the appetizers, the chzy party fingers were outstanding: 12/10 for over the top cheesy, garlicky, salty goodness. The marinated mozz balls somewhat paled in comparison, though the pesto sauce was respectable. The whipped ricotta jar meanwhile was lacking and very much felt like a half-conceived dish – don’t be afraid to give this one a miss. (Side note: Boom’s, do you really have nothing better to serve with your dips than prepackaged saltine crackers?!) Then we have the salads, which were downright terrible: the kale caesar was both boring and bitter, and the sweet and seedy was sugary enough to be a dessert, if only the various components didn’t clash so atrociously with one another. The restaurant space was fine, though it could have used more of the charming and whimsical local art to offset the sterile industrial feel. Service was also fine, albeit a bit slow for there being literally no one else in at the time.
Bottom line: come to Boom’s exclusively for the pizza and the garlic bread and you’ll leave very satisfied.

I love Boom’s pizza! This was my second visit and it was just as good as my first. Beautiful restaurant, really interesting pizza options and such attentive service. The workers were asking me questions before I’d even made it to the counter. They were on it! Most importantly the pizza is so tasty! Really great crust, flavorful sauces, high quality meats and I just love doing half and half so I can try different flavors. The dipping sauces are oh so great as well. The ranch is my favorite. I highly recommend this restaurant and I will be back again and again and again.

Best pizza in Cleveland or maybe in the Midwest. I have tried many great pizzas in NYC and New Haven, CT. If you like crispy, chewy sourdough crust and thinness and amazing flavors, this place is for you. I would say it is like Roberta’s of Brooklyn, NYC. The sauce is also tart and has amazing flavor. My favs are the pepperoni and the white pizza with the mushroom and garlic. I have tried Little Italy, some place that starts with M and V, and I tell you, if you are a coastal expat, this is your pizza oasis.

Delicious! We ordered take out and switched out pepperoni to the sausage. The only downside was the 1 hour wait! Wow. We were surprised by how long takeout took and actually went home for a little bit. Not sure if dining in would have been quicker, but something to note if you’re thinking of taking it out just to eat outside during the summer.
Pizza tasted delicious. Dough was cooked to perfection. I know because I’m a crust gal
Will be coming back (hoping it does not take a hour wait next time though!)

We tried Boom’s when they first opened at Van Aken and they immediately became our favorite pizza place in town! We were going far too often, but we didn’t care, it was that good.
BUT the last two times I’ve picked up pizza, it was horrible! The first one was their Veggie Mite, our favorite. It was undercooked, and it just overall tasted funky. Since this is our favorite place, we decided to try one more time.
This time we got Pineapple Express, it looked good, we’re not ones to turn our noses up at pineapple on pizza. Well, again, it was severely undercooked. Looked VERY unappetizing. The bacon was pure fat and raw.
Hopefully a slump in management but for the price will have to wait some time before trying again.

STELLAR PIZZA. Super cute pizzeria, lots of drink options – including NA, other than soda. One of our favorite spots. Update: this IS the best pizza.
