Came thru town and decided to take a chance on this place. After $75 for flavorless food the lady at the window just made the experience even worse. Opened the window and handed us our food then just shut the window.leaving us there wondering if we had everything. Very rude. Will definitely not be back or recommending this place.

Caught this passing though. It’s cool they’ve been around since the 40’s. The burger and fries were underwhelming, not bad but not great. Strawberry milk shake was the best part of my meal. Service was ok, nothing extraordinary.

Excellent ice cream with many flavor options. Food has always been good, but since they have switched the fryers to beef tallow the fried options have been excellent (especially the fries).
Service is fast, but the food isn’t sitting in a warmer so expect to wait a few, reasonable minutes for your meal. Usually the staff are friendly, but since it is the same small pool of people working, you can tell if it is or has been a stressful day. They put focus on the product and service time ahead of banter/customer relations, but when I think about it, I prefer it this way.
Within the last couple of years the interior has been modestly updated, and it was a nice improvement. It’s not flashy, but it’s nice and you can dine-in comfortably, drive-up, or take out.

Food is pretty good. Burger is always dry and the fried stuff is usually overcooked. Kinda crap that a kids meal is over $10 yet they only get 2 really small chicken nuggets, they’re not even strips. But overall the customer service is absolutely horrible! They don’t say hi, they don’t ask how your day is, they just look at you until you say your order or rudely ask what you want and than just demand the money, they don’t say have a good day or anything. Very very rude people, except the three younger ones. They are very nice.

Stopped in today for an ice cream cone with my family and the young man taking our order was rubbing his nose and took our cash and went straight to make our cones. I kindly asked him to wash his hands first, which he turned and gave me a look. As he was walking back to wash his hands he was laughing and smiling. On his way back up front he told a coworker I asked him to wash his hands and was snickering. Came back and made our cones. Disappointing and very unsanitary to take money and then touch food that your customers eat. Not impressed.

Starting with the service, the first time we came through there was a younger woman that took my order and she was as pleasant as can be. We stopped and asked her about the town and she took the time to be amazingly helpful and it was a wonderful conversation after we ordered. The second time when we came to the window to order some fries we were greeted by and older woman and she was pretty unpleasant to deal with. I suppose I will be when I get that age too. We ordered the chicken and it was a bit on the burnt side. Either that or the grease was old, either way it didn’t taste very good. The coleslaw and fries were great, The potato salad and the ice cream were good as well. The chicken would have probably been alright if it wasn’t overcooked. The atmosphere is good, small town drive thru feel. All in all it was a pretty decent experience.

I can deal with mediocre food but mix in bad customer service and that’s enough to create a very negative experience. We have been here 3 times with hopes the service would be better this time. I will also mention there was not a lot open being a small town so options are limited. This is the last and final time we will be going there. The food was flavorless, expensive for what you get, horrible presentation (thrown together) sloppy, and they forgot 3 items on the order, when addressed with the gal working, no sorry just what do you want? Very grumpy. I hear there are other good spots in town. I’d take that route.

I went I got burgers and was driving when mine tasted like fish. I’m sorry but luckily I don’t have a fish allergy I understand people do lent but make sure you extra clean your grill or flat tops coming from another kitchen cook not great. Tator tots and jalapeno poppers are great would order those again but the burger I don’t know I’m scared to come back I don’t want to waste my mom again honestly.
