Lady asked for my ID, went to the bar after taking a glance, showed everyone at the bar, they then proceeded to turn and look at me and my wife, then shined light onto it as if she couldn’t see with the other lights, then proceeded to say she wouldn’t serve me. I was not trying to get any drinks, just walked in, started to set up my pool cues. I just was there to play pool

I actually got stood up here. But nonetheless, the owner “I believe” I asked where the restrooms where and answered me with a smile, the bartender came up to me, patiently waiting for the person who stood me up,and asked me if I’d like a drink and tried to make me feel welcome. And the people that enter this bar are some of the nicest people. I’m not a bar guy. You’ll never really catch me in one. But this one was worth exploring. I plan on returning.

They need to get rid of, the “DRUNKS”, that get “Out Of Hand” with the Ladies! From what I heard, the Management is doing something about the issue now?!?!
The actual Bar, is nice. Has 2 Pool tables, Jukebox, Change machine (for the ), 1 or 2 “Casino” machines, Large Flat screen TV’s, A “Dancer Pole” on one of the bars (pretty cool) & has a nice array of tables & stools to sit on. They used to have a DJ. I have no idea about that now. Most of the people that go there are nice! The staff is very nice! I guess every bar has it’s issue’s.

Well we weren’t at Bookies we were at the Rooster Steakhouse and it was awesome. Hey people this is the only place in Cass County that I know of that has honest to goodness OLD FASHIONED SUZY Q’s!!!! If you know me well you know I love my Suzy Q’s needless to say I am a happy camper with my awesome tenderloin sandwich and SUZY Q’S . We need to support this restaurant as much as we can. They have my vote.

My review is for Roosters, the food was great and the service was good. The place gives off the small town country feel. I recommend the the tenderloin sandwich, I have a huge appetite and couldn’t finish it.

I own a restaurant and I have been a chef for older 30 years it takes a lot to impress me
Yes the building is dated and the booths are torn and tattered with mismatched silverware advertising lotto and a little bar in the back hand written help wanted sign with a new waitress still learning tge menu
But she was excited serving great food
Jose the owner was actually cooking with lack of cooks
