Entire order not hot. People were nice. Lots of water in order. Ribs had fat I would have never sent out in an order. Took it home, strained it, added sauce, salt pepper warmed it up. Hush puppies were warm & tasty.

I had a barbecue chicken plate today with cabbage, green beans, and hush puppies. Let me tell you, it was phenomenal. The chicken was slow cooked but not overcooked fall off the bone deliciousness, the sauce was a perfect compliment as well. The cabbage was perfect great flavor and not mushy. I’ve lived in Eastern NC my whole life and tried hush puppies from many restaurants, these puppies were the best I’ve ever eaten literally. The establishment is always clean and always a friendly staff. I’ve eaten from the food truck as well, I’ve had both the turkey and pork barbecue and I have never been disappointed. I can say the food is prepared with love. Great place to eat. I certainly will be back.

Was in area, decided to find a local BBQ business for take out. Turkey BBQ sounded interesting. What a find! Boogie’s Turkey BBQ location/building exterior/interior spotlessly clean. When I informed staff this was my first visit, I was promptly offered a taste sample of BBQ. DELICIOUS! Ordered 1 quart of BBQ, pint of slaw, sweet tea and housemade lemonade. Staff obviously takes great pride in service and food. I will make the trip from Raleigh again and again to try more of their menu offerings: collards, cabbage, green beans. Highly recommended

What I really loved about this place was the service. The lady was attentive and made me feel welcomed. I got the cheeseburger. It was alright but I did like the chili. My boyfriend got the BBQ Turkey with mashed potatoes, collard greens, and corn. The sides were delicious. I’ve never had bbq turkey; it was a bit dry for me.
