My granddaughter Kaylin and I went 1:30 pm on a Wednesday and they were moderately busy. All the tables were clean and it was about 3 minutes before we received menus. Food prices were reasonable and food quality was excellent. Atmosphere was adorable and a large Pokémon ceramic cat sat on counter. Food was hot (temperature) and hot kimchi on side. My granddaughter loves Sushi California style and she loved it and ordered one more. They have everything you crave in Chinese, Japanese and Thai. Check out their menu online.

The place is clean, quiet and nicely decorated. Granted, we were there during off peak hours, but the service was quick and polite. Food was excellent. I highly recommend Jam Bong, if you like oriental soups/stews. We also tried their fried rice, and pad thai, and everyone was happy. I’d like to go back there when I’m back in Columbus.

Service could have been a bit more prompt especially with the bill, but staff was friendly to children and the food was excellent. The Seaweed salad and tofu Jim were quite good. We also had the tempura veggies which were good, but when isn’t fried stuff tasty? We had a couple vegetarian sushi rolls which were great as well.

A small local Korean/Japanese restaurant that’s been a favorite of ours for many years. The Korean dishes are authentic and delicious. The sushi and sashimi are made fresh with generous portions. Don’t let it being at a strip mall fool you, it’s worth going to.

They just lost a weekly customer. Three separate occasions I called to place a carry out order during dinner hours (5-8pm) and no answer. I even walked into the store while calling them and witnessed an employee not answering the phone. And lastly, when I went in to place a carry out order, it was 30 minutes before they closed and they said they couldn’t take my order. Foods great, but poor customer service lost my business.

Pad Thai was good the first time, second time the chicken tasted like it was just microwaved. Hot pot was delicious and sushi is always great there. I don’t recommend the calamari dish but other sea food dishes are good. I’ve been there multiple times and the owners are very sweet.

Great food but horrible service. Waited an hr for food and was told multiple times kitchen was busy and would be ready soon. After more than an hr, waiter casually said “your order was never made, it was not printed out”. No apologies or whatsoever. I’m not expecting instant service; however basic communication should have been met. I will not be back.

There are so few places to get grilled mackerel in Cbus and this is one! Bonsai does not disappoint. They also have a wiiiidddee range of other items to choose from, spanning both Japan and Korean cuisine. The lady who served me (who I assume is one of the owners?) was great and offered great advice on how to enjoy the food (stirring the dumpling sauce into my rice mmmmm). Every entree seems to come with extra side dishes including kimchi, some sort of spiced cucumber, and another kind of cold potato dish. They were all delicious and I’m so sad I couldn’t finish everything! My bill came to 30 bucks, but that was with a large beer, an appetizer, 3 tiny side dishes, rice, and of course the grilled mackerel. Please please please try this place! We need to keep them in business so I can try more of their food in the future! Haha

Have been a couple of times, and even had take out sushi. Every time is a success. The sushi is tasty, and the main courses always are tasty and good sized portions.
