So happy we decided to give Bono’s a try. I couldn’t decide what to eat first and what to eat last. The Brunswick stew…ummmm! The brisket….ummmmm! The turkey….ummmmm! Everything was on point. Moist, perfectly seasoned, tender, just right!

Had an excellent pulled pork sandwich from them tonight. The service was also amazing. There were 6 of us total and the waitress was so attentive and considerate. I would definitely come here again. Thanks for making it such a lovely evening for us!

Questionable service. I witnessed my server Christine deliver great service to tables around us. Not once did she ask me if I wanted a refill and my glass was empty for a while. Even after I sat it on the end of the table after she brought us our check while we were still eating. She waited for the table directly across from us to let her know that they were done before she brought them their check. She also asked if they wanted drinks to go. Not once did she ask me. The other server who was working other tables kept staring at me, making me uncomfortable as if she does not like black people. I will go to one of the other locations from now on, even though this one is right by my house due to the unpleasant experience.

Very fast and good quality lunch. No complaints except when you are in the bathroom there is a motion sensor for the light that is set for probably 5 minutes so if you are at the urinal everything is good but if you are in the stall, prepare to turn on your cell phone flashlight.

As a Texan BBQ snob, I found the smoked turkey and sausage completely up to snuff. The fried okra was the best I’ve ever had. Kelly, our server, was friendly and warm and helpful with menu suggestions. Based on this experience, I will return to this location and I will recommend this location to family and friends.

So many restaurants to choose from in this area but we decided on Bar BQ tonite and head to Bono’s. As expected the place was busy with lots of families and children dining. Our host saw it was just the two of us and recommended the bar area… and like everything else he suggested it was perfect! Noisy as expected but the service was fast and spot on. The Thursday special platter was a crazy amount of food and the side of the day, cabbage and ham was super good. Loved watching the pit boss do his thing as well as the prepping and efficiently this place runs on. We were expecting chaos and truly enjoyed our food, entertainment and service!

The sweet tea, fries, and beef brisket sandwich with the sweet and tangy sauce – Perfection!
The baked beans – Very good. Why so much meat though?
The greens – Good, liked them better the second day. Again, why so much meat?

Pretty solid chain bbq. The meat doesn’t have a ton of flavor by itself but the sauce variety is good and everything came out hot and fresh. The best thing I had was the corn nuggets served with ranch. The onion rings didn’t have a ton of flavor, but the mac and cheese wasn’t bad.
