I have been working nearby for the past couple weeks and heard some of the locals talking about this place. I stopped for lunch one day… and it was pretty good. Good price, good amount of food, very tasty and served quickly. On the way out, I noticed they had a breakfast menu and I was getting sick of my freebie lousy hotel breakfasts! So the next day I went there for breakfast… and have been there about five times since then! WOW!!!!!! I have tried three different menu items (big bowl, small bowl, and meat omellette) and the amount of DELICIOUS food they pile on your plate is enough for two or three people. I have not yet once been able to eat more than 2/3rds (I always eat WAAAY too much!). I told two different people that work there that their prices are ridiculously low – $10 or $12 for all this yumminess. Last weekend in Raleigh, I went out for breakfast and got an egg and steak meal – it was nearly $28 and about half of a Bonnie and Clyde serving! I always leave at least a $10 tip because I feel I should pay what its worth! 🙂

This was a nice little restaurant. Service was so friendly and food was decently priced and tasty! Fresh and good southern sweet tea!

Grilled chicken salad, placed the cheese in a pile and the hot chicken on top ,melted all the cheese into a big glob that is not edible. I want a salad not a melted cheese ball

This is a good country diner in Marshall, NC. Not too far from my home. I’ve eaten here before and tonight was no different in the kind staff, the good food and and relaxed atmosphere. Lots of locals who eat here more often than I do and have no problem striking up a conversation with you. I had the grilled whitefish sandwich with fried okra and the okra was not overly greasy and the bum was toasted just right. Give them a try, you’ll feel right at home and enjoy the food. Last thing, due to supplier issues everyone has around the world, their menu changes frequently. The pictures below tell the story. Bon appetite !

Very yummy southern comfort cuisine. Ordered the big pine bowl and it was more than my eyes could eat! It was delicious. Staff was friendly, plenty of seating inside, just not very many parking spaces. Would definitely recommend. Just about the only breakfast spot in Marshall.

Small town dinner. Good food, good prices. Country cooking, nice staff, a few other food options if you don’t like good southern cooking (not sure why because southern food is the best). You will not leave hungry.

Perfectly cozy stop for lunch with possibly the BEST chicken tenders and fried okra I’ve ever had (and I’m from Alabama). Both perfectly seasoned, served hot, just enough crunch and tenders were juicy and delicious. Mac n Cheese was also creamy deliciousness!

Better than I thought it would be. Not super for healthier kid menu options.
Better burger than most places that fancy themselves gastro pubish.

Bonnie and Clyde’s is a fine example of American roadside dining. The food is good and the staff are courteous. Would recommend if you are looking for a sit down meal without the big town prices.
