Unfortunately, I can’t say I’d recommend this place. The customer service is extremely poor. My friends and I have been treated with more respect at smaller dive bars than we did here. We ordered mixed drinks (at first an espresso martini and piña colada but were told they don’t have espresso martinis?). We paid $28 with an 18% tip. The strawberry daiquiri was watered down and is unbearable to drink. The piña colada was also just as watered down and tasted like vanilla. When asked about an exchange or remake, the bartender with the mustache informed us we could only buy another drink. He told me “that’s how our piña colada’s taste.” I left the drink at the bar and we left shortly after.

Went to Bonner’s with my guy friend, and had such a good time. The bartenders were welcoming, the music was great, and it’s an easy place to post up for sports. Really friendly vibe—people actually talk to each other here. Highly recommend.

Unusually slow for a place where half the tables are empty on a weekend. You have to get your own water, menu, condiments. Food is mediocre. Was charged full price for cajun fry appetizer when it was only side size. Might as well have not specified wanted fries as side. Then wouldve gotten more fries. They also dont send out all items included in the description of the food. All of this would have been forgivable if the food wasnt overpriced

I’m not expecting amazing food at an Irish bar but these had to be the driest garlic bread I’ve ever had. They were essentially croutons with garlic on them. What they lacked in quality they made up for in quantity. There were tones of them and between two people we didnt have even half.
The beer itself was pretty decent at a good price and a decent selection. If that is the main thing you came for you should be set. The staff is friendly and fast as well.
We happened to come during a trivia day. Its fun that they have those but they also made it pretty loud and packed. I know that’s the nature of trivia though.

I planned an event with 35 people at Bonners and Dan (Bonner) who owns the place was super helpful in getting everything lined up. He reserved the elevated area of the bar with some standing tables and had water and cups ready to go. His staff was super helpful and everything was quite affordable. Thanks Dan, Sam, and team for a great evening! I’ll definitely come back to host again the next time I have an event to host in Philly!

We loved this place. A real Philly Irish pub. The bartenders were great. The food was all homemade, even the onion rings and the mashed potatoes. Be sure to ask if Richard is making the food. Apparently he’s been working at the restaurant for over 30 years making the food from scratch. I would definitely return here.

Couldn’t ask for a better spot! Bartenders remember you and your drink, place is clean, and plenty of room. Great bar!

This is NOT the best bar in Philadelphia, as others have stated in their reviews. This place is very old and not kept up the best. The food is average. The service was decent, but the guy was new. The Flies in the place were an issue. I would go elsewhere. I am not a fan and would never go back

Cool Irish bar that opens early. Nice beer list with a beer case even. Friendly people working make it a very comfortable spot. The menu has all the Irish classics.
