Amazing ice cream. Got a double dip with railroad tracks, joes garage, Cookie Monster and cosmic cake. All were amazing and fresh. Line was long but expected and worth the wait. Didn’t break the bank either for quantity of ice cream

Hands down the best homemade ice cream in the Bethany area! The owners are so friendly and the staff is always nice. There are a lot of affordable options and variety for kids. I love trying new flavors, but my favorite is toasted coconut. No toasted coconut? A classic peanut butter milkshake is the go to. And on the hottest days? A snoball is the most refreshing treat!!
As a DE local, I’ve tried a lot of ice cream up and down the shoreline, but Bonkey’s can’t be beat

Delicious ice cream with a lot of flavor options, including vegan if that’s your thing. Generous scoops that don’t leave you disappointed. I’m happy that I can have this treat at the beach or drive one county over to have it back home, too. 10/10, would recommend.

Can ice cream ever be bad?!?! Go to Bonkey’s! So many choices, hand-dip and soft serve. Floats and sundaes too. They also have shave ice!! Great treat any time they are open!!!!

I had the mocha joe & cake batter & my husband had the double dark chocolate and black raspberry in their waffle cone. I’m honestly not sure which flavor I liked best. I’m definitely going back to taste all of their other flavors.

We waited less than 5 minutes on a Thursday evening! Too many flavors to choose from. Scoops are large! The Double Double is worth sharing and is a great way to pick 4 flavors when you can’t choose what you want! Definitely recommend the double chocolate and coconut chocolate chip! Great place

Over priced for the taste. Salted caramel tasted like lemon scented perfume. Everybody talks about it but some better ones around here are agape/millville boardwalk, shipwrecked, and even kohrs. Not very creamy

The ice cream was delicious. A great selection of various flavors of ice cream and snow balls (as well as mixed variations). The only reasons that I have for rating Bonkey’s 4 stars out of 5 include:
1. Not alot of travel containers. We purchased a selection of ice cream and snow balls for a group of people and they only had covers for the ice cream & milk shake and not the snow balls. Not a big deal, but an annoyance when traveling back to our place.
2. Better use of their shaded areas. They had a shaded area to sit and a shaded area along the side of the building (that had a window to take orders). They chose to use the side of the building that had no shade, although their were two windows they chose to only use one for taking orders. There happened to be a line of people who were all vocalizing how hot it was outside (100-101 degrees depending on your source of information). I know what some people may say about this particular “complaint”, but I hope they can use this to improve their operation.
I truly enjoyed the ice cream and will go back, better prepared than I was today. So hopefully others will be better prepared and/or Bonkey’s makes some changes.
