I was in Santa Fe with family for Thanksgiving. Found this little gem of a restaurant tucked away near the train tracks. I took my family to Bonita Restaurant for breakfast. The restaurant was clean and quaint. The service was great. They sat our group of six (including 2 children under 5)right away. The staff was welcoming and efficient. Our drinks were never empty. The food came out quickly and was exactly as we ordered. The breakfast menu offered both traditional and mexican favorites. I had the migas which were very good. My party raved about their meals as well which leaned towards traditional breakfast items. The prices were reasonable. Patrons consisted of mostly locals . This looks like it would be a great dinner option if you are looking for dinner. Plenty of parking around back. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone while in Santa Fe.

We had an wonderful lunch in Santa Fe at Bonita restaurant. My daughters shared the beef fajitas. The portion was huge, the beef flavorful and tender and included lots of veggies. They commented that it was the best fajitas they’d ever had. I had the enchiladas and the green chile sauce was just what I was hoping for. Our entrees each included a large sopapilla , which was delicious finale to a great lunch!

This is a great place for a casual meal! We stopped on a Sunday early evening was not busy. Sit outside if the weather allows!
I ordered the Green Chili Burger with a side salad. Salad was typical and excellent. The burgers was also very good and I enjoyed it tremendously. It has the right amount of heat and the bacon was a nice touch. Do wish I’d ordered it medium rare rather than medium, but that’s a personal wish not judgemental. My wife order the Burrito with chicken. It was huge packed full of chicken and smothered in a wonder sauce. It came with a Sopapilla that was excellent!
We’d definitely come back next time in Santa Fe!
The location is a bit hidden back off of the road and hard to see from the main street, but GPS was accurate, plenty of parking when we were there!

Looking for something different one day and came across Bonita so we decided to give it a try. The appetizers are half price from 2 to 5 the trio dips with chips was great. I had the patty melt, probably the best patty melt I’ve had in NM.

The jalapeño poppers were great. Our meals were good also. I took issue with the server saying happy hour on appetizers was over at 5pm when the sign out front said until 6pm- see the picture attached. That was not an honest or gracious experience. The interior space and outdoor patio are old and have seen better days. It used to be a brewery. The outdoor patio was better than inside seating. They had live music, it was too loud.

Hi everyone. We visited this place since i was celebrating my wife’s birthday. We were there during happy hours so some of the cocktails, beers and apertisers were half priced. We ordered mussels, calamari, buffalo wings, liver steak and Alfredo pasta with shrimp. All the food
Was tasty. They also had mariachi band during that time so we were lucky. Please Do visit this place to have your own experience and please do comment about the food and overall experience you guys had. Until then much love God bless..

Green chile stew was to die for. And I’m a big green chile fan! Savory, flavorful and spicy across the board. Prices were great for the portions served. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely delicious food at this Sante Fe,NM restaurant. Very bright, with a nice patio if you enjoy eating outdoors. This is officially delicious Southwestern Cusine. The chicken in the tacos was wonderfully tender and seasoned really nicely. The Pork Carne Adavado taco was also delicious as was the Pork Stew. If you are visiting Santa Fe you won’t go wrong having lunch at Bonita.

It’s a huge open restaurant, lots of 4 top tables. They have garage doors and nice patio seating. The restaurant is full of color, primary colors, Christmas lights, lots of what looks like local art work, they have a little bar towards the back, very cute very well put together. The place also gets a lot of natural light lots of windows. The food is tasty and the portions are big. I ordered a waffle and it was nice and crispy. I’m happy with my experience
