This food establishment at RDU International Airport it’s so wonderful. They have delicious sandwiches wonderful coffee much better than the other two coffee places in RDU airport.
And everyone was smiling and enjoying what they were doing, when you get food from this type of atmosphere it feeds your soul.
But this time I simply got a toasted butter roll with latte. Let me tell you that butter roll was perfectly toasted and fresh.
It reminded me of when I worked in Manhattan years ago, around 5 AM these little carts will show up on the corner that would have rolls, donuts, pastries, and coffee and tea. I used to get butter roll and coffee, and this combination that I had today bought back memories of nostalgia for me.

I hesitated to write this review, because the secret, dark, greedy part of my heart that doesn’t want to wait on line wants to keep it to myself. Then I realized this place is at an airport, so I’ll never be able to keep it secret.
1) It’s take out only, It’s literally one doorway wide.
2) That doesn’t matter, it will probably be one of the best Italian cold cut sandwiches you will have. Ever.
3) You should also pay for the Italian Sodas instead of an American one unless you absolutely must have caffeine. The Lemon and the Clementine are delicious, but I will certainly be trying the others the next time I fly through here.
4) They also have Italian American bakery items like sfogliatella, rainbow cookies, and black and white cookies.
5) It’s in Terminal 2 between gates D4 and D6.

Very friendly staff and delicious food. A nice surprise considering some of the bad food options in the area. Well worth a stop (takeout only)

I was stuck in North Carolina (good heavens) on a layover for 8 hours, so I got an italian sandwich from here. Staff is very polite and made me feel welcome.
I asked for no tomatoes or vinegar and they listened. Gave me extra napkins, too. I was a bit wary of the price when I came in, but because of the size of each sandwich, THE PRICE IS WORTH IT!
Only thing to note is that because of the size, the sandwiches were a little awkward to bite into, but who doesnt want a huge sandwich anyways? Also, if you are looking for a place to sit down, this is a small shop so there are no chairs. I already had a seat at a terminal, so it didn’t bother me.
Overall a great experience. If I’m ever in North Carolina again (God forbid), I’ll definitely be going here.

GO HERE NOW! THE BEST coffee outside of Italy! Smooth, rich flavor, aroma….So glad I didn’t wait on the long lines for crummy bitter coffee at the other airport venues. This place is exactly like an old school NY Italian deli: super clean, friendly, & only the freshest, best ingredients. I wish I had gotten my lunch here. Next time for sure

Not just the best sandwich in Terminal 2, also probably the best sandwich I ever had. Enough for 2 people to share, or if you’re really hungry. Fantastic fresh bread and fillings, and awesome service with a smile from an authentic Italian gentleman.
