This place is worth the 4 week wait. Great atmosphere, and amazing food! I have nothing to complain about! Looking forward to our next visit. I recommend coming before your reservation, because people tailgate in the parking lot before hand. The menu does change, but there are some items that are always on the menu. I highly recommend going!!

It was one of the best meals I’ve ever had from start to finish. The staff were very welcoming and answered all the questions we had as well as providing some awesome dish suggestions that our group very much enjoyed.

Incredible food and outstanding service! Seasonal menu, but several of their main dishes (the “Perkinsville Schnitzel”) are served year around. Servers are well versed and happy to discuss, in detail, their food options. Bonge’s may be off the beaten path, but it is absolutely worth the drive! Reservations required. Accept both cash and card. The crab cakes are a must!

Bonge’s Tavern has been on our list of places to try for quite awhile. We finally made it here with a group of 10. We had reservations (highly recommended) and were actually seated about 30 minutes early. Peter was our server and he was FANTASTIC! He took excellent care of us, answered all of our questions, and interacted appropriately with us. Some of us think that we are funnier than we probably are! LOL The food was outstanding! Several of us had the Perkinsville Pork, while a couple of our group had the pork chop. Everyone was very complimentary of the food and service. Can’t wait to come back and try the other entrees!

First time at Bonge’s on a date. We had a great shrimp cocktail appetizer, two wedge salads with raspberry vinaigrette (one of the best wedge salads I’ve ever had), two petite filets with shrimp, prime rib, and potato, asparagus, and cornbread sides. Drinks were their featured hard cider. Everything was perfectly cooked. Menu is small but mighty and I’m super excited to come back and try something new! Service and atmosphere were also phenomenal!

We have only been in Indiana for just under two years but I have been hearing about Bonge’s Tavern since we got to Indiana. When you ask people where they love to eat, Bonge’s is normally the first place you hear about. My husband made reservations for us on a Wednesday night. They are not open every night and getting a weekend reservation was several weeks away.

Absolutely love Bonge’s Tavern. The atmosphere is so cozy and warm, service is by far the friendliest, and the food quality and flavors are above the rest. Limited menu but the waitress knew how to sell them all-it was hard to pick! The deserts are absolutely incredible, every last bite. Fine dining without the glamour. Need reservations to get in but totally worth the wait for a night at Bonge’s.

This is a unique family owned business that serves many wild meat dishes like duck breast, walleye, lamb chops and quail. They also have a chicken dish, a pork dish, and steak and shrimp along with many others. We really enjoyed the old ambiance of this gem of a place.

Dinner was great overall. There are a number of great options. Sides are standard so enjoy what they have. Our meal was with asparagus and a potato casserole. The trout was fantastic. Atmosphere is really fun. We didn’t tailgate but there were several others doing so in the lot. The one issue I had was the water. I don’t know if it’s normal but the water had a heavy sulfur smell. The waitress was aware and brought bottled water. Not a huge deal but a big gag inducing when not expecting it!

My wife took me here for my birthday. I had the sea trout, which was excellent. We have reservations booked for our anniversary dinner.
