Nice atmosphere and easy to find! My hubby and I both ordered the jerk chicken with cabbage and rice and beans drizzled with ox tail gravy! Oh my gosh! So good and the service was prompt and friendly! A nice little chilled spot to get amazing food at an affordable price. They honor military with discounts and our bill was under $40. The portion sizes were filling and the sweet cornbread was amazing!! Will definitely go back!!

This was an amazing experience!! The food was amazing! We sampled some jerk chicken, jerk pork, curry chicken, and oxtail stew. Oh and don’t forget to try the Jamaican patties for an appetizer. You will not regret stopping at this little gem! Cleanest and friendliest restaurant I’ve been to in a long time.

We came here for lunch on a weekend and had a good time. The place was not packed, so we were able to get seated almost immediately. Most of us ordered the Jerk Pork, just with different sides. The food came out pretty well. I enjoyed my experience here. The payment process was seamless since you can simply play on your own phone. You just need to scan the bar code on the receipt. Overall, I had a good experience here. Would come back in the future.

Very nice and modern inside!! Customer service was AMAZING . I’ve never had oxtails and I was a bit iffy about the price, but honey it was well worth it, I basically got 2 portions for one, because now I have lunch for tomorrow! Curry chicken had so much flavor I almost played Marley while I ate .. definitely will be back!!! O and the were out of an app i ordered , he offered me a specialty drink to make up for it ! Drink didn’t make it out the parking lot it was soooo good!

Fabulous new Carribean location. Was greeted with a smile and a willingness to please. I asked to taste the jerk and curry sauces. Both were excellent, but I went with the chicken curry. I love it, and the collards are amazing! It’s lovely inside with an inviting vibe and great colors and design. “Alex” the owner/manager was friendly and informative. I would highly recommend this great new addition to Gulfport’s growing list of exciting new diverse restaurants with bold and wonderful flavors. Welcome Bonfire!

Took a detour from my cross country trip to stop by Bonfire Restaurant for some lunch, and I am so happy I did!! Our server, Alex, was so hospitable, and our food matched his pleasantness. I wish I lived closer, because I would be a regular here. 5/5 stars much deserved.

I am from the Caribbean, live in NY and Philly, and had a craving for Jamaican food. I had high expectations about this place given the reviews. First when I got there, I wanted oxtails and they were out, which to be honest, “we nah have dat” is typical of most Jamaican restaurants. I ended up ordering the jerk chicken and jerk pork, both of which in my opinion, lacked flavor. The jerk pork was especially dry and had large fatty pieces, there wasn’t much meat at all. The jerk chicken, wasn’t bad, it was not in the style I am used to, but in defense of the restaurant, it was stated on the menu that it is pan jerk chicken, I’m used to a smokey jerk chicken, so I missed that flavor. I also had beef patties, the crust was nice and flaky, and the beef filing was tasty. The overall appearance of the place I liked, the staff were very nice, and the food didn’t take too long, it was a Friday for lunch for reference. The is the second Jamaican restaurant I tried in Biloxi, I believe it was called Rasta Caribbean restaurant, and I’ve decided I will stick with local cuisine for the duration of my stay.

Top notch place and tasty food. Stopped by on our way through town and was excited to find this Caribbean spot. It really exceeded expectations. The service was excellent and staff super friendly…the food came through quickly…and it was quite delicious. Probably haven’t had such succulent curry mutton in a long time. My pineapple ginger juice was so refreshing. I’d definitely come back to Biloxi just to be able to eat here again.
