My wife and I traveled to Virginia Beach to celebrate my mother’s birthday, which also falls on Valentine’s Day and her wedding anniversary. Ebonii, our waitress, was absolutely amazing and truly made the entire experience enjoyable. She was attentive, professional, and extremely polite.

The only minor downside was that the food could have been a little hotter, but considering how busy the kitchen likely was on Valentine’s Day, that’s understandable. Overall, it was a great night, and we truly enjoyed ourselves.

My husband and I dined here on Valentine’s Day and ordered the Valentine’s specials, which included grouper and a crab cake. His sides were mashed potatoes and broccoli, and I chose jasmine rice and asparagus.

There was a small mix-up with our sides, but it was corrected right away. I ended up trying the broccoli and honestly enjoyed it much more than the asparagus, and they were kind enough to let me switch.

Our server was attentive, helpful, and very accommodating throughout the evening. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely come back!

Just leaving the restaurant. Had an amazing dinner experience with my wife. We were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and she created this nostalgic experience in which she re-creating our first date. The food was amazing tonight and our waiter, Shaun, made it soooo much more delightful. He was polite, Professional, prompt and courteous. They are having a holiday pairing dinner in the up-coming weeks and I cant wait to experience this 5 course experience. Hope that Shaun is there so I can request his services as our lovely waiter

Loved it. Only issue was the calamari. Overcooked and undercooked. Not sure how they did that. I believe they threw some previously cooked in with a new batch. I also do not believe it was fresh. The salmon, asparagus, potatoes and bang bang shrimp were “off the hook”

Been here a few times & the parking, service, & atmosphere are great, but the food & drinks are gross – just every single thing we’ve ordered has not been good. We had:
– Bang Bang shrimp & chicken: We thought it was going to come out coated in some delicious sweet chili glaze, but it’s this disgusting mayonnaise-ey aioloi sauce that they drench all over the food. No bang. Tip for the chef – less is more.
– Au gratin potatoes: When this came out, we didn’t even know what it was. The top was completely burned and crunchy, and then there was this gross liquid cheese or something with cubed potatoes? Au gratin potatoes are delicately cooked potatoes with real cheese and delicious sauce. I don’t know who created this recipe, but it tastes terrible & is not au gratin potatoes in any way, shape, or form.
– Martinis: Unless you get one with zero sugar, they are just sickeningly sweet with hardly any alcohol.
– Parmesan-crusted Trout: Fishy – just yuck.

I so wanted to like this place, but it’s just not worth the money. They need a chef who really knows how to cook and put sauces and food together properly – especially au gratin potatoes! Sorry that I do not recommend and will not be back.

I have always loved this place. The decor, the staff the whole ambiance was perfect. The food….omg the food was absolutely delicious. And we just happen to go when margaritas and martinis were $5 all night. Hubby had the parmesan crusted trout with broccoli and jasmine rice. I had the lemon caper butter aslaskan salmon with broccoli and jasmine rice. I will definitely be returning.
