A perfect pit stop before heading down the mountain! A definite must have! Perfect outdoor lunch spot for a big family with lots of kids who just want to run around wild while parents enjoy some tasty BBQ ribs, tri tip, brisket n pull pork! The BBQ sauce is to die for and the service is just icing on the cake! Thanks for my birthday lunch – it was delish! Opens at 11.30am n its right off the Big Bear Blvd!

My wife and I have been to many places arround the world and had BBQ from different cultures but this place has done it right! Good old-fashioned American style BBQ! From smoked pork ribs to beef brisket, you cant go wrong. Got to try the ‘not just for kids” hand made Mac & cheese. You might meet the owner Ron, he is Hands-On everyday barbecuing meat in the winter snow and beautiful summer months year-round in Big Bear! If you come to try his barbecue, be sure to get there before 2 p.m. as he may run out of food. Also bring him a cold beer, he deserves it!

Like the man said “The best Barbecue!” Definitely not to miss of you’re down by Big Bear. Had ribs, brisket and their sausages. All to die for. And go at 12. They close when they sell out, and that can be as early as 2.30.

Wow, 5-star AMAZING BBQ!
Honestly the best barbeque I’ve ever had. Be aware that they are only open an hour or two, and they start running out of their most popular items in only a half an hour after opening.
My recommendation is to arrive before they open (before 11:30).
Supposedly their brisket is the favorite, but we only got to try the pulled pork because we didn’t get there until 12. I have difficulty imagining than anything could be better than the pulled pork we had, but I’ll be very anxious to try!
Do not miss this place if you like BBQ!

Hands down some of the best bbq my husband and myself have found in California. We’re from the south and miss southern food something awful and we happened to stop by and grab lunch here and we weren’t disappointed! The pulled pork and Mac n cheese were AMAZING! The service was fantastic and so humble! We will definitely be making trips to big bear more often to get this bbq! So if you’re looking for some good southern food on your time in big bear I highly suggest stopping by!

My daughter and I were sitting in our cabin craving pulled pork. We got onto Google Maps and typed in “pulled pork”. This place came up and boy are we happy it did! They were just getting ready to close, but stayed open to get us lunch. The pulled pork sandwich was AMAZING! We ordered the Mac & Cheese as our side and I can’t believe how delicious it was. You can for sure tell it was home made. We don’t get up to Big Bear often, but next time we do, we will for sure come here!

AMAZING barbecue!! They were so generous with everything and it’s one of the best barbecue I’ve ever tasted! Highly recommended. They don’t have a specific closing time. They close when the food runs out for the day. We were the last customers of the day but they were kind enough to still serve us even though it looked like they were closing down.

My boys and I rode our bikes there after smelling the delicious aromas of smoked wood. We were greeted by the 2 chefs and we tried there smoked brisket, BBQ ribs and famous mac & cheese. The food was delicious, hot, soft meat that just melted in your mouth. Omg it was good, I’ll be sure to grab me a plate each time I’m in big bear.

Service, food, & quality are all 5 stars. The service was very fast and friendly. I love the staff and the owners. The food is delicious I had my face filled with bbq sauce. The owner also brought us an extra side order for free for my family. We had a conversation with the owner and his partner. We gave them a gift for being very nice and caring to us. It was a bread from La Brea Bakery. I hope you remember us. Thank you for everything. We will see you soon.

How can we rate when you’re sold out 15 minutes after opening on Sunday? We (myself my husband and 5 year old daughter) showed up around 11:45. There were 2 Sheriff’s waiting for their order and one truck in the drive thru. After the Sheriffs got their order and the truck pulled forward we were told “ sorry sold out”. I wanted a family feast to feed us a for a few days and was so disappointed we had to find something else. There is no way to order online so how are we supposed to be able to try and support your food?! We just moved up here a week ago and this was a let down.
