Everything here is enjoyable. Glad I finally stopped. Wings are crispy and unique breading to what youre used to. There are so many great options to choose from. I got a sampler because I just couldn’t decide on 1 thing. Will definitely be back soon to try more entrees.

It was my first time ordering from this place and I will say that the chicken is good, however their menu is very misleading. I ordered the K-Meal To-Go for 6-8 which Im expecting would feed 6-8 people. It comes with 40 pieces of chicken and 3 sides. Those 3 sides didn’t even feed half of those people and the bag of fries were half full. This costing $90 is absolutely ridiculous!

So tasty! The food is always so delicious. After I get done eating, I want more… and I don’t even like eating. I usually get take out but decided to have a beer and eat. It was perfect. I also got am order to go… because I knew I’d want another bite of their perfect chicken later in the day.

I tried to get a picture before my girl ate it all but hy the time I got my phone there wasn’t much left.
Food was great and portions were large.
Our new favorite chicken is the soy-garlic wings.

Bonchon in Lowell isn’t just another branch in the chain; it’s a standout star that elevates the already high standards of the Bonchon experience. Known for its crispy, juicy Korean-style fried chicken, Bonchon has made a name for itself worldwide, but there’s something special about the Lowell location that makes it shine even brighter.

When you visit Bonchon in Lowell, you’re greeted with more than just the mouthwatering aroma of double-fried chicken; you enter a space where every detail is aligned for customer satisfaction. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, perfectly capturing the lively spirit associated with Korean dining culture. It’s an inviting setting for families, friends, or solo diners looking to indulge in some of the best chicken on the planet.

What sets the Lowell location apart is its consistent excellence in both food quality and customer service. The chicken here is always perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, served piping hot with a side of their signature sauces that are both spicy and sweet. The staff at this location also goes above and beyond, providing friendly, attentive service that ensures a memorable dining experience. They are knowledgeable about the menu and eager to share their recommendations, making first-timers feel like regulars.

Overall, the Lowell Bonchon has mastered the art of Korean fried chicken and customer satisfaction. Whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth, the Lowell location stands out as a pinnacle of quality and hospitality in the Bonchon family. It’s the place to go when you want not just good food, but an exceptional dining experience that will leave you planning your next visit before you’ve even left.

Their drumsticks were a little too meaty tasting for me. The chicken tenders is way better, in my opinion. Great crisp on it, and they nailed the sauce. French fries were good, but wasn’t a fan of the overwhelming Parmesan taste (def recommend the plain). Given all that, the reason I take one star off is because of their drinks. The cocktail was quite unappetizing. Watered down, too much juice, and incredibly bitter aftertaste as if the pineapple had gone bad. They need some work on their drinks, but the food is good.

I walked into Bonchon expecting a culinary experience. What I got was a life lesson in humility.

The wings? Crispy, glorious, glistening like they were forged in the fires of Mount Flavor itself. The smell alone made me believe my ancestors were proud of me. I was ready. Spiritually. Emotionally. Financially.

Then came the moment that changed everything.

I asked for TAP water.

Not sparkling. Not bottled. Just… good old Tap water. Because in my mind, water at restaurants is a luxury item now. I assumed they’d bring me a $6 designer bottle harvested from Himalayan clouds. I was preparing my wallet for impact.

Inside my head I heard
Tap. Water.

Then they came
Served with the confidence of a Michelin sommelier presenting a rare vintage. Ice cubes floating like tiny glaciers. A lemon wedge sitting there like it was doing something important.

I stared at it. They stared at me. The water stared into my soul.

And in that moment, I realized Bonchon isn’t just a restaurant. It’s a place that reminds you who you are. A place that says, “You thought we’d charge you for water… but we believe in hydration freedom.”

I left with crispy wings, a full stomach, and the haunting memory of being served tap water like royalty.

10/10. Would be emotionally humbled again.

Wow bonchon is really going down hill. I called in couple days ago ordered couple beef fried rice with some sweet and spicy wings my niece told me their spicy wings are too spicy I called in about 10min later to change the wings to all sweet and the manager told me she reather cancel the whole chicken order than change the wings to sweet because the food had already been prepared. I really love bonchon lowell I have been ordering here since my college years at umass in 2019 this interaction really left me baffled and will probably will stop ordering my takeout here.

It was my 5th time eating Bonchon and what a disappointment. First 4 times it was delivery and purely wings which are 10/10. So we decided to go and dine in. We orden the Bibimpap which they made with scramble eggs for whatever reason, aside from being tasteless. I order the pork belly bowl (can’t remember the name now) and it 6/10. My son ordered the chicken sandwich and he probably got 5 French fries of that. My other son order the Seoul sampler which he really enjoyed but my opinion is highly overpriced ($35). I would not be ordering anything other than wings at this place which sometimes is hit or miss with the over breading.

The Bomb Korean fried chicken. The Bulgogi fried rice and soy garlic chicken are highly recommended. Also, if you like the taste of sushi, try the Salmon Avocado ball. Yum! 10 outta 10 recommend!
