This a good quick fix when it comes to the basics of Korean cuisine. This is my first time trying the fried chicken and it was not bad at all. Next time I hope to enjoy it on location, so it is nice and fresh! We ordered a bunch from this place including fried chicken, corn, pork belly plate that comes with rice, kimchi, and a friend egg. All great. They have a lot on the menu so I hope if I am ever in town or around another chain, I can try more. We got it delivered, and it came on time, and everything was intact and ready to eat.

The Bolgogi fries was good. The chicken is good if you choose the Korean BBQ sauce. The soy garlic sauce is not good. The shrimp fried rice is bland it needs seasonings. It lacks flavor.

Boneless wings are some of the best around, especially the Korean BBQ flavor. Chicken sandwich with slaw got better as I got into it but the bites around the edge lacked sauce. Some hard/chewy bites were found. Noodles were a bit gummy and the dish lacked flavor. Service was attentive but not great (not rude, just not very friendly).

I’ve only ever ordered online for pickup, and everything is always ready when I arrive. The food is soooo delicious!!! The chicken strips and wings are so flavorful (I love Soy Garlic, and Korean BBQ), and the Tteokbokki and Buldak are so good too! I highly recommend!! A bit pricey, but really delicious and flavorful food! I usually order several items, and have plenty left over to eat later.

Got the bibing baap, fried rice, and shrimp dumplings. The food was tasty but the quantity was less for the price, stingy portions of chicken in fried rice and not much rice (see photo) . The only vegetarian item is the bibing baap with tofu. It’s so easy to replace meat with tofu in other dishes but they dont do it. They forgot to serve corn appetizer we ordered which we later cancelled.
Not happy with the service or food.

This place was highly recommended so we gave it a try. I am rating this place accordingly to their prices. The chicken was awesome, crisp but not oily and tender inside. Japchae was filling and noodles were nicely cooked. The bulgogi fries were a bit bland for my taste, it felt like the fries were the star of the dish, if they wanted to save and not put too much meat, more sauce would be good, we ended up running out of sauce and beef before finishing this. Seafood bibimbap was awesome, the serving was quite small but very tasty, I love the serving style for this dish. The octopus balls were my favorite, understandable to have hardly any octopus but very nicely spiced and on top of fresh salad. Pickled radish were very light to eat and cleansed the pallete perfectly . Dumplings were very tasty and fresh . The service was very prompt and friendly, less than half of the place was occupied at about one thirty in the afternoon of a Sunday, the place was very clean , seats and tables obviously recently cleaned . I would certainly recommend this place as something a bit different, well worth the price, great ambiance and location .

The chicken was delicious… the rest was bad. The potstickers tasted like frozen crap put in an air fryer and the fried rice was worse. Tasted like boxed rice a roni or something again out of the freezer section that was microwaved. It really to bad because the chicken was different and tasty.

The wife and I are in town for a wedding this weekend and were looking for a bite to eat- so glad we chose Bonchon! We ordered the wings and the fried rice with seafood. The wing had an amazing crunch on them and were very flavorful If you’re in Bolingbrook, check them out

The robot was interesting to see and the decor was cool. The chicken wings were just OK. I thought the chicken breading was crispy and sauces tasted good but once you bit off the outer layer then you are left with just a boiled chicken inside. The chicken skin inside was soft like it was boiled. The Korean fried rice was delicious.

Pick up order. The clear noodles tasted similar to pat see ew. Was good.
I went with the recommendation on most ordered with the chicken/rice.
Wasn’t exploding with flavor, but wasn’t gross. I’d word it as “ok” .
For $16 each, it’s less than impressive.
