This is a hidden gem a coworker told me about. The food was phenomenal! My boyfriend and I started off with the sticky spare ribs appetizer. When the owner said don’t be shy to ask for more cucumbers because the sauce shouldn’t be wasted, he wasn’t lying. It was so delicious and not a drop was left behind. Dumplings were amazing and they are made to order. We got the Pad See Ew and Pad Mee Korat (their twist on Pad Thai). Both were great. Lots of food for great price. Also loved how the restaurant had a homey feel to it.

Today was my first but far from last time going to Bon Palay. Every dish I had here was outstanding and you could taste how much love and hard work goes into the food. The owners are extremely passionate about what they do and it really shows when you try their dishes. Every plate is so well thought out and the attention to detail is extremely impressive. If you are looking for genuine Thai food that has every flavor from the culture this is the place to go!

So ask yourself what is Authenticity? What do you think it means to you? Let Owners Mike and Palay show you what it is to have a great meal together. Not what you expect in a town of Manville but exactly what your brain and your taste pallet wants. They won’t disappoint that’s for sure just tell them Glenn and Donna sent ya. You will be happy that you did. Your taste buds will be happy as well

Absolutely an experience! Fantastic service and amazing hospitality from the owner. The noodles are mouthwatering, decadent, and makes you want to keep eating and eating. They make everything homemade and even grow their own vegetables and peppers. The wait is around an hour after you order, but grab a beer and kick back with your friends. The wait is absolutely worth it. Promise.

UNBELIEVABLE.
I get Thai food whenever I get the chance, all over the world from NJ to Hong Kong, but Bon Palay is hands down the best I have ever had. The non-descript location on South Main Street has a homey, comfortable and casual feel. The chef has a passion and craft for Thai cuisine, explaining how he stays true to the traditions of authentic Thai cooking methods.
The flavor profile of my dish (Gaeng Masaman) was perfection. It is the least spicy curry, so I asked for medium-spicy which was easily accommodated. The dish was a precise blend of sweet and spicy and the perfect portion. Paired with the Thai iced tea, it couldn’t have been better.
I would have never expected to find fare of this caliber in Manville, and I am so glad I did. Being only a short walk from my house, I plan on visiting regularly and bringing family, friends, coworkers, my dentist, some lady from the CVS checkout line, literally anyone I meet. Bon Palay is a must try, you will not be disappointed.

Manville’s hidden gem.
WOW!!This is now my go to Thai restaurant.
Take note. Freshly made food like this takes time so plan accordingly. My wife and shared “Pad Mee Korat” with shrimp and a yellow curry called “Gaeng Karee” with pork. Definitely will be back soon.

The food was delicious, fresh and flavourful. It’s a family-run restaurant and everything is freshly cooked so waiting time is a bit long. But, it’s worth the wait!!

Small “mom & pop” restaurant. Food is freshly prepared. Trade-off is that service is slower that the typical Thai restaurant. Very friendly owners. Will return.

Amazing experience. Highly recommend.
Now a days it seems like there is a Thai place or two in each town.
Bon Palay puts them all to shame.
The food is made to order, so everything is super fresh and exactly how you like it.
Believe me it’s more than worth the extra few minutes to wait.
Mike and Palay, the owners are also the chefs and they are so super friendly and skilled.
Each time we are there it’s feels like we are hanging out with friends who are cooking in the home for us.
A little extra; my wife is Thai, and we had Bon Palay cater the lunch for our tradition Thai wedding, and the family who came here from Thailand loved the food.
That says something, when people from Thailand say the food is excellent, you know it’s the best.
