Best buffet in town! My friends and I typically come here during the weekdays for their lunch buffet. It’s an exceptional value and the food is clearly made with care. There’s a large variety, and what I appreciate is that when they raise the price on the weekend, they also offer more meat.

I’ve found that sometimes when the meat sits out for a while, it can get a bit dry, but this is easily fixed by adding one of their many flavorful sauces. All of the meat is delicious, and there are tons of great sides along with fantastic vegetarian options.

The employees are very friendly, and it’s always the same few people working, which in my opinion is a good sign and shows that they treat their staff well. As you can tell from my photos being with different people every time, I love taking friends here, and I find that consistently people are very pleasantly, surprised by the value and quality of the food.

The restaurant is very inviting with friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. The service here is amazing and our waters were refilled often. The chutney provided is so good and tasty.

The garlic chili naan is really good and it’s not that spicy. The paneer masala and butter chicken are very flavorful with a sweet taste and comes with basmati rice. I do wish the portion was bigger for the price. Definitely take the leftover sauce and they’ll give you rice to take home. Overall a great experience.

Bombay Royale is one of the best Indian restaurants we have eaten at. When we are in town visiting from San Francisco, we make sure our first meal is here. We love their Palak Paneer which is so tasty. The onion and mint/cilantro chutneys that accompany the complimentary papadum are fresh and flavorful. Their Kerala specialties of Fish in a Banana Leaf and Cochin Snapper were items we haven’t seen at other restaurants and were out-of-this-world delicious. And the restaurant manager Arun and the rest of the staff are attentive and friendly. We are looking forward to returning to Bombay Royale for dinner tomorrow night which will be our 3rd time in 5 days!

If you like authentic Indian food this is the place to go. Wait staff was very helpful explaining dishes and selecting spice level. Appetizers and main course was brought out to the table in a very reasonable amount of time. Flavor and selection of the food was fantastic. Cocktails were very good. Cost of the meal was what I would expect. Quantity/size of dish were appropriate. I will be returning here in the near future as it has made my favorite Indian food restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The service was great. And the food was EXCELLENT! We had the samosa chaat, a mixed kebab sampler, mango lassi and the rack of lamb. All amazing. But that lamb rack was beyond amazing. Best lamb we’ve had in a while. Definitely going back!

Our food was delicious; the flavors were complex, nuanced, and exciting in all the ways Indian cuisine promises. We arrived before the dinner rush, and were relieved by that fact when we saw the place filling up as we ate our entrées, but we noticed that service quality did not decline for anyone when the restaurant was much busier. The portions were generous so we brought some home. And the management answered our questions about ingredients, cooking techniques, and spice levels with all due consideration. We even like the table lights.

My husband and I were visiting the area from Albany NY and have always wanted to try this place. Expectations were absolutely met! The food was AMAZING, the service was top tier and everyone really made sure we were taken care of, and the general vibe of the place was very relaxing even though there were a lot of people. It didn’t feel chaotic at all. We have decided to make it a point to dine at this restaurant whenever we are in the area. Keep up the amazing work! I wasn’t able to tale a photo of the mango and strawberry lassis that were absolutely amazing, the mulligatawny soup that my husband loved, and the vegetable samosas that we devoured in 30 seconds.

Such an amazingly good restaurant, in all ways. Undoubtedly the best and most authentic Indian food in the Valley. While we look forward to their dinners, one must not forego the lunch buffets, filled with many choices and are quite reasonable. Many cheers and gratitude to the owners and staff at Bombay Royale! -Deb
