I’ve been to this Indian restaurant a couple of times because it came highly recommended by a friend. Maybe it was good back when there weren’t many other Indian options around, but my last visit was very disappointing.

We booked through The Fork and there was a promotion. It was a weekday lunch, and we were literally the only table there. Despite that, the service was extremely slow. The owner was chatting with someone outside, and we couldn’t get anyone’s attention to take our order. When a server finally came, they were very pushy and tried to get us to order more.

We ordered naan to go with our curry and declined rice multiple times. When the food came, they still tried to serve us rice. We reminded them that we didn’t want any, and they reluctantly took it back, even making a rude comment like “you can’t eat it without rice.” That’s just unacceptable! Customers should be free to eat what they want, as you can see we ordered 3 different types of naan.

The portions were tiny, and the whole experience felt dishonest. If you don’t want to honor promotions from The Fork, then don’t offer them. I won’t be coming back. Dishonest service and poor treatment of customers are dealbreakers.

*2 stars because I actually liked their naan. Too bad for the poor experience!

While visiting Rome, I wanted to eat something homey and cosy and this restaurant hit the spot so good! The ambiance was so calming and the intricate details in the restaurant are beautiful! The food took me straight back home but what was even more strikingly satisfying was the service. The food was made and served with love and the staff was so compassionate and eager to make your dining experience excellent! As an Indian for anyone wanting authentic Indian experience I would a 100% recommend this place !!

One of the best settings for an Indian restaurant I’ve seen. Food was also solid, I haven’t gone digging in for the last bits of tikka masala in a long time. The paneer in the shahi paneer was also fresh. Service was also quick.

Good food. Portions are good but smaller than expected/usual from an Indian restaurant. Received 5 pieces of chicken in my curry. Very quiet restaurant, we were the only ones inside so not much ambience. Floor staff were friendly. Bit direct/dismissive service from the owners. Pretty sure we were overcharged as well as I’ve done the calculations multiple times now and can’t get to their result. Can’t itemise the items to pay for what we each ordered and we were only 2 people dining. No receipt provided either.

Authentic and outstanding food. I ordered takeaway with a selection of dishes. The tasting menu was colourful, aromatic and delicious. All of it was prepared and packed with care. The owner and staff were very friendly, so I look forward to coming back with family or friends to dine in another time.
Very easy to get to from the Metro

Horrible taste of food. We didn’t like any of the items served. The quantity and quality both are below average. Even for normal water they charge which is free everywhere. There is a service charge which is too much. According to price they charge the food is is pathetic. Not at all recommended. Requesting people not to go and spoil the taste buds as well as valuable money.

The restaurant offers good Indian food. However, there’s a table charge that they failed to mention in the menu nor at the time we ordered. I thought potential customers should be alert of this piece of info. We enjoyed the food but the portion is very small for what they are charging, making it quite expensive..also considering we ordered only vegetarian dishes. We booked through the fork with discounts, without it the bill would have been ridiculous.
