A must-try is the mango coconut naan—it was divine! We will definitely be coming back next time we are in Queenstown. Highly recommended!
Not eating spicy so we asked for mild and the spices were so flavorful.
The butter chicken was rich, perfectly balanced, and incredibly comforting. The lamb vindaloo had real depth of flavour with just the right amount of heat, and the lamb was beautifully tender. The chicken biryani was genuinely to die for, fragrant, perfectly cooked, and easily one of the best we’ve had.
The garlic naan was soft, fresh, and generously flavoured, and the onion bhajis were crisp on the outside, light on the inside, and absolutely addictive.
Everything tasted fresh, expertly cooked, and clearly made with care. This was one of the best takeaway meals we’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend! We will definitely be ordering again. Thank you so much.
We love Indian food and have eaten it all over the world (also in India). We liked both the chicken jalfrezi and the palak paneer here, even if I ordered the jalfrezi “hot”, which was a little too spicy for me.
I usually don’t mention specific persons when reviewing places, but Manoj did such a great job.
He offered to reduce the spicyness, which was very generous as it was clearly my fault to order it not medium.
I think they didn’t even remix my food but created a complete new dish for me
Manoj also was very attentive in general (like with the bright sun) and did an impeccable job.
We ordered mango lassi, paneer tikka, malai kofta, chicken biryani, paneer kadhai, chicken bhuna and chilli and garlic naan. Each and every dish were amazing except for the chicken bhuna which was not upto our expectation. But the food was 5/5.
Make booking before hand to avoid to be waiting, esp on Wednesday night as it is a $20 curry nights.
After ordering we were given the entree however waited 30-45 mins for the mains. So if you are in a. Hurry order everything at once.
Totally recommend this place. Food is just amazing..
I have eaten at a number of fine dining Indian restaurants in The UK as well as many not so fancy and I must say the food was very very good .
The restaurant was probably about half full but the there was a regular stream of take away orders.
