Dropped by here because it was the only close-by place open for Thanksgiving day and I’m glad everywhere else was closed. Truly excellent food. Blue Berry Lassi was uniquely good. All the main dishes were great and the Garlic Naan had a great texture. Highly recommended and will be back if we drive through here again.

We loved this restaurant! The vibe was modern mixed with traditional Indian elements. It’s a small place and very busy and popular. We ordered the Mumbai Masala hot chai (immediately served when requested, very smooth and balanced), the Maine Blueberry Dahi Puri (absolutely delicious with the most authentic flavors), Chicken 65 (mediocre taste, not as much flavor as we were hoping), Kashmiri Malai Kofta (wonderful and delicious, very smooth flavors) with Basmati rice. We also got an appetizer of Sindhi Papadum and Cooling Mint Raita (helped tie everything together). We ordered a mild spice level and items were still so flavorful. The staff were so kind and attentive the whole time, despite being short staffed and busy. We absolutely would come back here next time we visit again. Highly recommend!

Great food and friendly staff. We came around 2:30 on a Saturday. The restaurant was still a little busy for mid afternoon, but we didn’t have any wait to be seated or to be served. The food is phenomenal (go for the spicy version!) and Raj came over to introduce himself and check in on our experience.
I high recommend the bombay chicken and stuffed samosas for appetizers, and the garlic naan. For entrees we enjoyed the chicken vindaloo and homestyle lamb curry.
My only critique is that our server forgot to bring the extra drinks that we ordered, but they were in the middle of a shift change so I believe it was a simple mistake.
Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to visiting again!

We were seated quickly despite the place being packed—food came out quickly as well. Great service! I had the eggplant vindaloo and my partner had butter chicken. We also tried the gobi pakora. We both agreed this was our favorite meal of the trip!

Bombay has definitely stepped up their game. Fresh ingredients, tender meats and amazing flavors. The naan was perfect and sauces were all unique and delicious. The restaurant felt clean. Dining room was inviting. Service was average, but fine. Prices are way up, double what it used to be, but if you can afford it definitely head over to Bombay Mahal for some excellent Indian cuisine!

Believe it or not, these dishes once housed a colorful, aromatic and plentiful Indian meal. The chicken tikka masala paired with delicious chicken tikka saag was mopped up with the essential garlic naan.

I have been here twice and will keep coming. It’s a cosy place, always bustling (shows it’s popular), food is amazing – has Indian chefs- and to top it amazing customer service. You will not regret and you will have close to India taste on all the items!

With Van and Sath heading the customer experience, a brand new remodel and bar, and exciting new additions to the menu, it has been wonderful! Today we went ( as we have the last three years) and were pleased to see a Maine Blueberry Dahl puri added to the appetizers. It was SO GOOD, having a cool fresh bite to the hot day. We also tried a cauliflower pakora which was new and so good, and the chicken khorma and tikka masala. The inside is even more gorgeous and I highly recommend them as I always do every chance I get! Thank you guys

The best Indian food I’ve ever had! Excellent! Hot and fresh. Friendly, swift service. Clean and cozy atmosphere. Super comfortable. My son and I spent the day driving up the Maine coast and decided to stop in Brunswick for lunch. We parked in the free parking lot out back. As soon as we stepped out of the vehicle we could smell something delicious nearby. We both turned and saw the restaurant and eagerly wanted to try it. My son had a spicy curry dish and loved it. I cannot recall the name of the dish I had but it was a delicious paneer dish. Cooked perfectly. We got Naan bread for the table.. super yummy. I highly recommend Bombay Mahal. Sooo good!
