We enjoyed the food and service here. They kept refilling the chai and the flavors and cook were excellent.

Absolutely loved this restaurant. The food was amazing. The staff were a bit busy due to a party but we still received great service. I got the “Sag Paneer” with no cheese which paired well with the “Gobhi Parantha”. My girlfriend and her sister shared the “shrimp tikka masala” and “Peshiwari Naan” which they absolutely loved. I personally love the Peshiwari Naan as a desert. Over all I was satisfied.

Update 2: 1/13/25 Ordered Veg Biryani, the chef doesnt even know what biryani is. The thing they gave me in Veg Biryani was Tawa PULAO without even the taste of tawa pulao. Just steamed rice salted with some veggies. The interior is still depressing and the table cloths still smell bad.
Its a very average restaurant. Some things are good while most are average I feel. I had the malai kofta which did not have any malai paneer inside, just veggie balls. The balls were pretty dry, the gravy was good to taste. The garlic naan was super fresh but could have used some salt and real butter on the naan. I think overall only the buffet would be worth it. A la carte Indian in Memphis is not worth it in most of the Indian restaurants. While I feel the owners and staff are super friendly and seem like taking care of the place with love, they really need to update and improve quality of food and cleanliness. The biggest issue is that they have not kept it very clean or inviting inside the premises. The table cloths smell like old kitchen clothes when not properly washed with hot water and detergent. These are very basic fixes, that should improve the ambience and smell of the place a lot.

Phenomenal family-owned Indian restaurant in the Cordova area. I had the vegetable korma and she indulged in the butter chicken entree. Both the product and service were quality. We’ll be returning here!
Update: I have since returned here another 15 times and I love it! I order everything from the sag paneer & vegetable korma to the vegetable korma & garlic naan. Their Indian tea is served hot and it is divine! Highly recommended even if you’re a coffee drinker as it is adjacent to that! 5/5

Best Indian food in Memphis. I didn’t always get to try this restaurant as it’s located really away from most other Indian restaurants. But their dishes are really like Punjabi style. This is my second time. Their mango milkshake is a homely one.
They are on 5 star.

This is my Indian spot in Cordova area! I really love the food (flavorful and spicy just how I like it~ you should get their tea!) and the hospitality. Kudos to Mr. Singh for having a wonderful establishment.

We have been coming to Bombay House for over 20 years. It is one of our favorite in Memphis and is run by a sweet family that has watched our kids grow up over the years. This time we enjoyed Samosas, chicken tikka, chicken korma, madrasi lamb, sag paneer and matar paneer. Highly recommend for dining in and for carry out.

One of the worst experiences i had the place has weird vibe feeling like you’re going to one dollar restaurant dining place. The food is not the best thing that you can ever taste although the portions they give us are so small and not cheap depend on the amount of food they serve the food taste for me awful. The mix a grill was really bad the chicken was not fully cooked . The biryani was not good too. in generalIt was a bad experience. I don’t recommend it.

We came on a weekday right after opening at 11, nice quiet atmosphere. Food came out pretty quick, super flavorful and good proportions. There was a bit of a language barrier, kinda hard to understand the waitress but we got what we ordered.

I ordered DoorDash so I can’t rate the service or atmosphere. What I will rate is the food (Chicken Biryani and Chicken Tikka Masala). The Biryani was underwhelming! I have never had it whew it looked like chicken curry. I’m used to greenery like cilantro, cardamom and red onion and other garnishments. The rice was delicious. I could eat it alone. The masala is not the best I’ve had but it wasn’t bad. The naan was standard. I wouldn’t eat here again. Glad Ubereats had an extra promotion.
