Relaxed choice for East Indian fare served in a quaint setting, plus take-out & delivery.

Ambiance (3/5): A bit a colored dark lighting inside with lovely ethnic music. Enough space inside to enjoy and accommodate large groups together.
Attention to management: Consider figuring out how to configure your TV screen, which you guys use to play YouTube videos which has distracting ads. You also use the screen to complete customer orders so it’s a bit distracting.
Service (3/5): Service was a bit slow as it was primarily one person providing table service and completing the online orders. We always had to ask for more water refills. The server seemed like a genuinely great guy with patience.
Food (4/5):
Table pita was fresh/crunchy and went well with the dips
Samosas (5 pc) (4/5): tasty and filled with a good amount of stuffing
Lamb Josh Rogan (5/5): The lamb chunks were extremely tender! While the spices were flavorful, I wish there was a more of a kick to the spiciness.
Chicken Tikki Masala(3/5): Their tikki recipe was overly sweet which was not to my liking.
Dishes are super affordable compared to competitors ($16-18/ non-veg plates)

They have a daily special, which has a vast selection of Indian dishes available to choose from. I chose the Boti Kebab (marinated cubes of lamb), Goat Rogan Josh (a curry), Lamb Dal Gosht (lentils with meat), and Mughlai Paratha. It came with some cups of colorful, flavorful sauces. Everything was very tasty. My favorite was the Mughlai Paratha, which is a flatbread stuffed with spiced minced meat.

I Love B.H.!!! I’ve been a customer of Bombay Heights for over 5 years and they never disappoint. I’ve done it all, delivery, take-out, and dine in, all great. Their dedication to great service, flavors, and portions are unbeatable. I always tell friends new to the area that for Indian cuisine there is no other spot! Get the “Daily Special”!

As soon as we walked in, the ambience was very dull. The manager/server was rude to us from the very start. The appetizers were a huge disappointment followed by the main course. We ordered chicken Tikka and naan but he got us dish which was dry. When we tried clarifying this, he became extremely defensive and said it was our fault for placing the wrong order. I do not recommend this place at all. The food was extremely underwhelming and so was the service.

Okay this is the BEST Indian restaurant, maybe even my favorite restaurant in NY. The taste is super! They do brown rice too and it’s not overly priced at all like a lot of others can be. The ambience is lovely in there – a bit like the classic British/Indian restaurants. – with low lighting, pretty wall paper and pictures. The only one in the USA I’ve seen like this. Highly highly recommended.

this is not about the food itself but i wouldn’t recommend bringing a date here. they have ads playing with the music they put on. service was mad slow. online order machine beeping incessantly. they seem understaffed and stressed. the place itself is cute but the vibes was not it. id rather there be no music than have to listen to cheap ads while im eating. hopefully the food is good!

We had a wonderful dinner here last night. Service was great. Food was delicious. The sauces they give you at the beginning were better than any of the other ones I’ve tried at other Indian restaurants. We tried the Ka-Chori appetizer and chicken samosas. I had no idea what to expect from the Ka-Chori, but it was literally amazing. Try it! Samosas were also delicious! Tikka and biryani cooked great. Highly recommend!

Worst Indian food in the city. If you are looking for Indian authentic food, this is not the place. Modified the food for other taste palates rather than keeping it authentic and it tastes so bad.
PS: They have stopped serving Pani Puri and many other dishes

If you like Fox News you should eat here! They have a TV going in the dining room with Fox News. I learned so much. Who knew the mainstream media has been lying to us about so many things? Otherwise, you can enjoy some totally mediocre Indian food that costs a little bit more than it probably should and takes way longer than you thought it would. When I was there to pick up in person, the number of seated diners (2) was vastly outnumbered by the helmeted delivery drivers standing in the the dining room (6-8 at all times). That’s a little depressing, but this isn’t really a place anyone goes to sit down and eat. As evidenced by the fact that no priority is given to the in house diners. Their order goes in the cue with all the takeout orders, and they sit at the table waiting for their food to be made, typically 30+ minutes, watching the uber drivers pick up bag after bag of food for someone else. . It’s no way to run a restaurant, but these guys are the only indian food option for a mile and a half in any direction, so you make do with what you’ve got.
