The dish appeared to be white rice mixed hastily with raw, uncooked chicken (photo attached). It was severely lacking in seasoning, salt, and spices, with the primary flavor being raw meat and turmeric. Due to the unpalatable and potentially unsafe nature of the raw chicken, the entire order had to be immediately trashed.
I strongly recommend you REMOVE this item from your menu until your preparation methods meet basic standards of safety and quality.
THEY SNEAK GRATUITY AS A LINE ITEM ON YOUR BILL AND THEN DONT TELL YOU ABOUT IT. IT HAPPENED TO US AND WE PAID GRATUITY TWICE. I CALLED A MINIMUM OF 5 TIME TO GET IT CORRECTED, AND A WEEK LATER, I STILL HAVEN’T HEARD FROM ANYONE AT THE RESTAURANT.
We had a large group and food taste was decent. The service/wait time was long.
We ordered bhindi masala and navratna curry was not good. The dal makhani was ok but Malai kofta and palak paneer were good. The naan were good but some were burned.
Usually a restaurant serving North Indian food onion but they charge $5 for it. Everything was overpriced and not enough quantity for the price.
I’d definitely recommend this place to any South Indians visiting the area who are craving authentic and flavorful Indian food
Something has happened to the chicken tikka masala, and what they served us last night was just awful. It was so sweet that it seemed to be full of maple syrup. My daughter was starving, and loves this dish, but just couldn’t eat it. We didn’t even bring the leftovers, which is sacrilege for us.
The service was as bad as the chicken. Our server took the order, then disappeared for the remainder of our meal. Literally absent from the dining room with 4 tables eating. Everyone was having to ask the non-server guy for what they needed. This guy seated us, brought the food, and brought our check. He did all of the work. So I gave him the tip.
I own a restaurant, and understand that we’re not machines, and problems can hit you at work that cause your performance to suffer. I’m very sympathetic to that, but this service was incompetent to the point that I didn’t leave the “server” a tip, for the second time ever, and I eat out a lot. Another sacrilege resulting from this completely disappointing dinner.
Establishment: needs major improvement. The restaurant feels dated, disorganized and needs better climate control. We were roasting today as the restaurant was hot. I’d say this is my main reason for points deduction. When I went to utilize the restroom you have to watch yourself as the floor is slippery and you have to walk past storage racks and other restaurant equipment. This location is not the beat rwprestation of this quality of food and customer service.
Customer service: excellent! our server was friendly knew the menu very well and was quick to relocate us from our table by the window and radiant heater as we were uncomfortably hot. He quickly opened the door to let some cool air I’m and without hesitation accommodated our request.
Food: DELICIOUS!! I was amazed by the Sampler appetizer. The Vegetable Samosa is heavy, dense, and packed with flavor. Definitely limit yourself to just one! Hahaha. The Vegetable Pakora was tasty, crispy, and perfectly fried. The Chicken Pakoras was cooked to perfection. The chicken was juicy, cooked to perfection. We then ordered the bread basket which we could not out down.. wow!
We then ordered the Lamb Cirry and the Kadai Chicken. We couldn’t be more satisfied. The lamb was tender, good amount of meat and sauce, and delicious. The chicken too had amazing flavor.
The desserts left a lot to desire and were subpar.
Wife and I ate here this afternoon. Food was good for both of us. I had the Lamb Rogan Josh, and Garlic Naan, she had the chicken curry. For dessert we had the Mango Kulfi. I’m not big on rice dishes, but it was a good meal. I think the booths are a little tight for us big guys though.
