We were deer hunting at a friend’s camp, he brought us here for dinner. Gretchen did a wonderful job taking care of us. I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and the food was good for a very remote location.

Prices are high overall but I ordered the wet burrito, price was fair and the burrito was good, the meat was seasoned well and it was a good portion of food.

We had a party of 14 and the girls did an awesome job. Even though they were busy and 2 girls working, Drinks were kept full and food was served promptly and was delicious. Would recommend this bar for food and drink.

A Northern Michigan hidden gem. It’s nice to see local establishments, thriving and on Thursday evenings this place normally is. My family has been going out to eat here every Thursday for a couple years now. The trivia is fun and well geared towards an older crowd, it’s still a family friendly environment. Their weekly specials are normally something delicious and homemade that feels like you are getting true comfort food. The owners are frequently present and very involved in customer service. If you don’t know the staff before you get there, you will likely feel like family before you leave though. Very happy to have won a gift certificate on the radio years ago to peak my interest in Bolton Ridge.

Very good service and 5 star meal. The staff was on their game, and very hospitable. The owner brought us free samples of a new steak appetizer. Wow was it good! Thanks for the great experience. And it’s a skip off the snowmobile trail.

I’ve been exploring the menu this past month I love the homemade soups, Smash Burgers, great pizza. I was surprised how much I liked the Buffalo Chicken Ranch Pizza. The walleye is wonder on Fridays. Their salads are great not just a bag of iceberg.
