I’ve been ordering from Bollywood Masala for a couple of years now, and they have truly never disappointed. In today’s economy, where finding consistently good food feels rare, this place always gets it right. Every dish from their chicken Makhni to the Chicken Biryani, Korma, and Dal Bukhara is full of flavor and made with care. The quality, taste, and freshness are always on point. I’ve lived in La Plata for years and have slept on this place… That was a huge mistake. The food is incredible! Or first visit we went sure wear to order so the owner made some suggestions and recommendations and it was on from there. It’s quickly become our favorite dinner spot. Don’t wait like we did, try it today, you won’t regret it!

My wife and I had dinner at Bollywood Masala in Laplata on 12 December. My wife had the butter chicken and I had a goat dish. Bothe dishes were excellent. The service was great and very personal. We were with friends we hadn’t seen in awhile and stayed for almost three hours and we never felt like we were being rush out.

We went for a birthday dinner. We had a large party and they happily accepted us without reservations. The staff was extremely professional and friendly. For the size of our party, they were able to get the food out quickly and it was great! We were extremely happy with everything about the meal and highly recommend.

Bollywood Masala is a great place! You will not be disappointed! I am a traveler and Bollywood Masala is a definite must stop and eat places in La Plata, MD. Every item has a great taste and their Lunch special is really special! I’ve had the Butter Chicken and pictured is the Chicken Tikka Masala. The taste is amazing and the service is great. The atmosphere really stands out and you get that Bollywood feel with all the movie posters surrounding the restaurant. They also have a bar for those who choose to sit, relax and have a great drink. The Naan is amazing, for two orders of the Lunch special you get 4 slices of Naan which are insanely good. I highly recommend Bollywood Masala! You will enjoy enjoy the food and you will return because they’re that great!

I stopped by Bollywood Masala for food after a long drive on a Sunday and had a great food experience. Although I missed the lunch buffet, the dishes I ordered were exceptional. The tandoori chicken was perfectly marinated and grilled to perfection, offering a delightful smoky flavor. The chicken biryani was aromatic and packed with rich spices, making every bite a treat. The chicken tikka masala stood out with its creamy, flavorful sauce that perfectly complemented the tender chicken pieces. Of course, the garlic naan was the perfect accompaniment, soft and infused with just the right amount of garlic.
The restaurant is located in a plaza with plentiful parking, making it convenient and easy to access. Overall, every dish was flavorful and delicious, making Bollywood Masala a top choice for authentic Indian cuisine.

This restaurant was recommended by a coworker and I’ve since thanked them several times for that suggestion. My favorite time to visit this establishment is for lunch, and my go-to entree is “The Butter Chicken”. Their lunch plates are more than sufficient for one and you get a variety of deliciousness packed in. For example, their lunch box includes a veggie of the day (always a surprise), an appetizer, the most perfect naan, rice with diced cucumbers, and then your choice of entree. Order time is quick, staff is pleasant and courteous, and the butter chicken is phenomenal.
