So yummy!! Came for lunch and service was very fast and nice. Medium spice level for the chicken vindaloo was perfect. The lamb masala was super creamy and delicious. Will be back 🙂

This is our new favorite Indian restaurant in this area! The food is excellent, and we appreciate that they will cook in ghee if you ask for it. Lutfor welcomed us warmly and provided great sit down service. We have also enjoyed their carry out. The menu is quite extensive and each dish we’ve had has been very flavorful and thoughtfully prepared. They are located downstairs in an office building courtyard with unassuming signage giving off a speakeasy vibe. The first time we came at night we almost thought our GPS lead us to the wrong place, but lo and behold there they were. We are very excited to finally have found an Indian restaurant in this area that we LOVE!

The Water Garden area in Westlake is not always easily navigated-especially the first time or returning, like we did, for the first time in a couple of years. Any restaurant that survives here has to be good and Bollywood has been open about 15 years and it IS REALLY good! There were so many dinner choices that i turned over ordering duties to my DDH because everything sounded great to me. We got Shrimp Vindaloo, Saag Paneer, Chicken Tandoori and garlic cheese Naan along with one order of the fluffiest, lightest rice I think I’ve ever had. To drink, one mango and one strawberry lassi. Everything was incredible. We ordered the “hot” spice level on the shrimp and it was hot! But also very doable and the hot did not overwhelm the flavor.
I would probably order all of those things again but i really need to mix it up next time because seriously everything we didn’t order- and it’s a big menu- looked fantastic. I can’t wait.

Doesn’t taste like Indian food! The food is eatable but don’t except eating Indian food. The masala sauce taste like Italian tomato sauce. The Tamarind sauce doesn’t even taste like tamarind at all. The samosa don’t look and taste like samosa…
I won’t go back there. Very disappointing experience.

Came in for lunch at Bollywood and was really impressed with both the customer service and the food. We ordered the chicken tikka masala, chicken tikka, and butter chicken — everything was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. Great portions and friendly staff. Definitely recommend!

I moved to the area from the UK 2 years ago and I have been searching for an Indian Restaurant that I like. After MANY tries I found this absolute GEM tucked away in Woodlake Village.
The service was great, everyone who served us was so friendly and attentive.
The food is incredible. The best samosas I have had. The chicken tikka masala had fantastic flavor, the tandoori chicken was wonderful and the garlic naan was delicious.
This is my new favourite restaurant and by far the best Indian restaurant in the Valley!!

We were looking for a new restaurant in Westlake / Thousand Oaks and discovered this hidden gem! The best Indian food in the area, hands down! Maybe the best Indian food in Los Angeles. So fresh, home made, delicious. Really cool cozy location too!
