I’ve had multiple disappointing experiences with Indian sweets from Bolina Hastings. On more than one occasion, the sweets were not fresh. Recently, I bought two boxes of rasmalai, and shockingly, they had a clear smell and taste of onion. This is completely unacceptable for a dessert.
I have given feedback before, yet the issue has repeated. Due to limited options, I gave it another chance, but I will now avoid buying sweets from here.

I enjoyed a work lunch here. The team were fast and the service was smooth. I was left to enjoy my meal in peace, which is always love!
I ordered the Amritsari Kulcha with Chole. A super fluffy, fresh kulcha and well spiced chole. Loved seeing a whole curry leave in my meal, so savoury. Served with rita, lime pickle, and fresh red onion — welcome accompaniments!

First time visit for lunch after my barber had recommended Bolina as the best Indian in Hastings. Wasn’t very adventurous and went for the mixed vegetable curry and a garlic naan. Absolutely delicious! Very friendly service from the waiter too. Really enjoyed it and will definitely be back!

This restaurant has literally gone to the dogs! The new staff here do not know how to serve customers and we had to keep on asking for cutlery and serviettes, which was rudely provided. If you need your family to help you in your business, they should know how to not dissatisfy Customers. Please teach some basic etiquette to your new staff. Maybe a smile goes a long way too. Also the food doesn’t taste the same anymore. I have been a regular since this restaurant started but my recent experience was very bad. If you wish to pay for no taste and service, please visit this restaurant. Utterly disgusting management! Unfortunately I cannot give no stars so one is what I will give as of now. You have lost a customer and please don’t bother commenting with your verbatim.
