Absolutely blown away by Bojangles Sushi!
From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere had a perfect mix of chill vibes and upscale charm. But what really made the experience unforgettable was Cameron—hands down one of the best servers I’ve ever had. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the menu, Cameron made sure we felt taken care of from start to finish.
Now let’s talk about the food…
The Hidden Dragon Roll? Top notch. Rich, flavorful, and beautifully plated—it was the kind of roll that sets the bar for everything else. Every bite had the perfect balance of spice, crunch, and melt-in-your-mouth goodness.
Whether you’re a sushi lover or just testing the waters, Bojangles Sushi is the spot—and if you’re lucky enough to get Cameron as your server, you’re in for a real treat.

We have eaten there many times. Food is usually very good. Walked in tonight at 8:50, they close at 9:30. “The kitchen closes at 9, do you want a to go order?” We knew what we wanted and would have been out before closing… Their loss of long time customers.

We arrived on a Saturday night, and the restaurant was admittedly packed. It went downhill from there. The server was pleasant but aloof. She didn’t remember who had what drinks or who ordered what. Basic server stuff for this kind of joint, where you wouldn’t expect them to come to the table and auction off food.
They ran out of cups and brought our drinks in styrofoam cups instead, except for the martini we ordered, which came in a rocks glass, not a martini glass. The martini eas otherwise enjoyable.
Don’t order the raw oysters. We ordered them and they came out on ice, but the oysters themselves were warm, where they should be ice cold if kept at proper temp. They apologized and took them back and didn’t charge us for them.
After that, the rolls were fine, but it was otherwise just difficult to enjoy the rest of the experience.
The restaurant is trendy and kinda noisy but enjoyable! It’s got a great vibe, but the barstools are stained and dirty and that gives kind of a grimy feel. The restroom was clean but needed updating.
I wouldn’t go back.
The warm, raw seafood is where they lost the stars. They kept three because I generally love sushi.

My husband and I came here for a nice date night. The restaurant has a lovely warm atmosphere all of its own. Our order was a bit pricier than normal because we haven’t been out in a while. Bojangles offers a variety of food for different budgets. The rolls we ordered had the most savory umami flavor, making the meal perfect. There are also hibachi options for those less adventurous. The meal was prompt and the waitress was friendly. We feel you get generous portions and the food is flavorful. Would definitely recommend!

I visited New Iberia for a week and I’m under the impression that this place is greatly overlooked. My experience here was incredible! Firstly, I love the environment with a massive bar, cozy seating, music, and amazing service. They don’t do anything over-the-top with their oysters; just simple and delicious. The sushi is where they get creative. They have a huge selection of rolls, both traditional and unique to southern cuisine. I had a far from traditional, rice-free, deep fried roll and was very impressed. They serve up some killer cocktails as well. I could see myself dining at Bojangles on a regular basis if I lived around here. Do yourself a favor and give them a try if you haven’t already!

Lunch menu is really good with many options to choose from, very friendly and fast service.
I tried the choose 3 combo plus miso or salad.
Rich flavor and generous portion (you’ll be the judge).
Enjoy it.
