Reviews
Chicken tenders: 4/5. I got the 3 piece meal. The tenders were nice and crispy although it was too salty for me.
Mac and cheese: 5/5. The Mac and cheese was delicious and had a nice cheese pull. The noodles were not mushy like other places and the cheese had a nice bite to it.
Biscuit: 5/5. Nice, classic biscuit. Texture was buttery soft and flaky.
Bo-berry biscuits: 5/5. Omg these were so good! These are blueberry biscuits made with real blueberries and topped with icing. Highly addicting: it’s not overly sweet and had the same texture as the regular biscuit.
Service: 3/5. The guy thay took my order was nice, but the lady that took the payment could have been friendlier. When I pulled up to the window she immediately said “$14.50”. No hi or anything. Yea it’s a fast food joint I don’t expect great service, but common sense would make you think that you say hi to a customer when you are doing business with them. This makes me wonder if I did not preemptively say thank you to her once I got my food would she have told me thank you?
Service was outstanding and my food was served reasonably fast. The place looks new so it’s clean inside and outside of the restaurant.
They have the Best biscuits ever and the Best breakfast sandwiches ever. Sausage gravy with bo-rounds are addicting. Peach cobbler is super tasty. You really can’t go wrong!
Yes, I know it’s disappointing that there’s no bone-in chicken (news flash everyone, all the locations will be this way here in town). But I come here for the breakfast sandwiches and the bo-rounds and my husband loves the chicken sandwiches.
Staff is super nice. Management is very friendly and are always around. 100% recommend either location!
Lots of little issues.
On the website, I finally saw bone-in chicken. I was very happy about that, then after trying to order, found out it was in another state.
So I downloaded the app. Figured this would be more accurate – wrong.
After 12 minutes trying to order 2 large family meals – it tells me, at the end, at checkout, that order could not be placed due to several reasons ( see photo)
So I goto the physical location and order at counter. The staffer is nice enough. He asked a lot of questions, asking me as if I worked there….
So I tried to order as I tried previously on the app.
I ordered a 20 piece family meal and a 12 piece family meal. I tried to order potato rounds- unavailable so ordered 2x fries, by the time I got home , fries were not good, like they had been overcooked, in parts.
Baked mac n cheese was the only bright spot. Tasty and warm.
The Cole slaw was….not very memorable. It was just there.
The chicken, were also a little tough, like they’d been sitting awhile. Not sure what to say about that. The sauces were decent enough ranch, peach BBQ, creamy buffalo and honey mustard.
I personally did not try the biscuits this time but family said they were ok.
Lastly we do not drink tea so I paid extra for the lemonade, which i was charged for but only after I paid, did they tell me that they only had 2 half gallons of the lemonade, they owed me 3, so I tried to ask for unsweetened tea, they were out so I had to settle for sweetened tea, which nobody in my family drinks
So after spending 150.00 again – for a second experience, I am sorely disappointed…again.
The topper was the entire time I was in store – the manager sat at a booth – playing on her phone. This is at dinner hours, peak service time for restaurants. Even though everyone in the restaurant could hear the staffer telling me they were out of this and that…
Bojangles does not live up to the hype, not in this town. There are local places here that offer a far superior experience for less.
Will I return? The answer is a solid no.
Thank you for a great experience-
I’ll be back!
