I placed an online order the night before for a 7:00 AM pickup for a work event. When I arrived right at 7:00, I was told they did not have my order and that they would not make it, even though it had already been paid for.

I showed proof of the order and payment multiple times, including that it was for the correct location, but the staff still refused to fulfill it. I had to repeatedly go back and forth explaining that my company had already paid and that it was my responsibility to pick it up. The staff was unkind and dismissive throughout the process.

They eventually called their boss, who asked for even more proof, which I again provided. By this point it was 7:40 AM. The store was not busy at all, and the order was simply six biscuits.

After nearly 40 minutes of waiting and insisting, they finally made the order and handed it to me. This was clearly a technology issue on their end, yet I was treated as if I was doing something wrong despite having clear proof of purchase.

Very disappointing experience, especially for an early morning pickup planned in advance for an event. I expect better communication and customer service when an order is paid for and confirmed online.

I understand why this location is using a kiosk to make you order. No one would stand at the counter and service this to a person while looking them in the eye. I understand that getting fresh food in a fast food restaurant is usually not the norm and I’m ok with this. I feel pretty sure the fries were from this morning and not sure when the supremes were cooked but I would rather not have my chicken crunch like a bowl of grape nuts. I’ll not be back anytime soon. Complete waste of time and money.

3rd in a row poor experience at bojangles. This time waxhaw. Drive through, order wrong, had to wait, poor food. Attached is a picture of egg, overcooked. Once egg turns brown it tastes horrible. Sad part is bojangles has great tasting food when its done right. The execution lately has just been bad, its not just this location, one indian land and charlotte are just as bad. Do better bojangles!!!

⭐ 1 Star — Completely Unprofessional and Disrespectful

This was hands-down one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had at a Bojangles.

Angela, who took my order, was openly rude, dismissive, and acted like my presence was an inconvenience. No greeting, no basic courtesy, just attitude from the moment she spoke. When I tried to address the issue, her manager somehow made it worse — dismissing my concern entirely and then turning the situation into a joke by asking Angela, in front of me, if she was being rude… while clearly laughing it off.

Nothing says “we don’t care about customers” quite like management mocking a complaint instead of handling it professionally.

If this is the service being encouraged here, it explains a lot. Customer service clearly isn’t a priority at this location, and accountability seems nonexistent. I won’t be returning, and I’d strongly suggest others don’t waste their time either

Placed an online order, and the online order told me to go inside, doors locked. So I went through the drive thru. The lady at the drive-thru wasn’t very pleasant. Got my food, and I always check my bag. To my surprise.
1. Peach cobbler paid for icing, didn’t get any.
2. Order bo rounds. They didn’t tell me they were out and let me leave.
3. Ordered a family fry and received a small and again let me leave.
4. Ordered mashed potatoes, and they didn’t have any, but they didn’t tell me and let me drive away. Gave me a fry instead.
So i drove back around to get my items right. I don’t know why it is so hard to read an online order and get it right. At least communicate to the customer that you are out of items. I tried to tell the lady at the window what was missing and she kept interrupting me, I told her to stop and listen for a second, then she told me they were out of items, but you let me drive off the first time, unacceptable. I see you have many 1-star reviews, I can see why. Management needs to get this place right. I wouldn’t recommend this Bojangles to anyone. Oh yeah, there was a hair in my food, so excited.

Item missing from order after being told it was included: Ordered a combo and a cajun biscuit. The female at the window said “Your chicken biscuit is inside the box, too.” I trusted her and drove to my destination only to find that the chicken biscuit was not inside the box. I tried to call but the voice mailbox was full.

Just left this location and I was breaking into my boberry biscuit and thankfully I saw it before I took that bite. Unfortunately I found a piece of hair. But that’s my only complaint

I had a great experience at the Bojangles in Waxhaw! The associate Matt always provides amazing service and goes the extra mile to make sure everything I order is in my bag before I leave. It’s refreshing to see that kind of attention to detail. The manager Stephanie also does a fantastic job keeping the store organized and very clean, which makes the whole visit even better. Definitely one of the best Bojangles locations around.

Biscuits were disgusting! The sausage biscuit was so hard it was inedible. The egg was brown and rubbery, as pictured. Cajun was old and soggy, and bo rounds were stale and hard. The food gets worse every time and Bojangles isn’t exactly the cheapest place. We have reached out to the store and corporate with no response. It is awful to spend $20-$30 on a meal that is consistently nasty or wrong.
