I order a 9pc Bo bites combo. The Bo bites were hard and didn’t even have much chicken in them, they were mostly breading. They were dry and been sitting for awhile. One wasn’t even cook all the way And the cashier was rude. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this Bojangles I rather make the drive to Richfield or Norwood.

Food was good. Staff were happy and chatty with each other. They didn’t pay as much attention to customers. While we ate lunch two drive-in customers had to return their orders for errors.

Workers need to work on their attitude and maybe a class in customer service skills would be helpful.

Update: they apparently don’t know the difference between supremes and regular chicken. Crazy to think if you spend $60 on food they wouldn’t get it right. Nope, they only gave us half of what we ordered. They need to all be let go and hire better people. If you hate your job THAT BAD, there’s the door!

4th update 5/24. Well I finally gave up on this dump after the manager became hostile toward me. I threw my food in the trash and left. I don’t understand why getting a biscuit to go can be so complicated and difficult. I suppose anyone can have a bad day, but me ordering food shouldnt be the reason. So, if you decide to dine here, lower your expectations first or go through the drive-thru. One of the worst Bojangles stores.
3rd update 6/23: This facility is worse than ever. The food is still fair but you might not want to eat it in this nasty, run down place. It’s enough to turn off your appetite. Take a look at the photos. The chair back are so sticky they stick yo your clothing. The cracks in the chair bottoms collect food debris. The counters are worn, the walls crooked, the tiles greasy…. and the restroom is beyond nasty. This restaurant should be condemned.
2nd Update 4/23: post-COVID, it’s better, but not great. The food is good most days. The restaurant facility is run down. Restrooms are frequently untidy and small. Tables, chairs, carpet,… is worn. Albemarle deserves a nicer facility like the newer Bojangles Restaurants.
The manager and staff are usually friendly and accommodating. Kudos to them.
The menu is fried chicken and biscuits with a few sides. Cajun pintos are pretty good. The dirty rice gets soggy. The biscuits are great most times. No one fries better chicken these days.
Notice – The prices have rapidly increased. Expect to pay $10-$15 for lunch or dinner, sometimes more. Breakfast is more than $5 for a biscuit and coffee. Be careful when ordering. The menu can be tricky which may end up costing you more than expected.

Bad customer service. I came 1.5hrs before closing and the girl who took our order made it very clear that she was not happy we were here, even when I cracked a joke. Rolled eyes.
She was trying to put the chairs up when we walked in as of they were closed.. then messed up our order so we had to re-order to get the right stuff.
Our food was cold when we got it. Tenders and rice. Only thing warm was the biscuits.

Went two different mornings while visiting in Albemarle. The first morning was a Saturday during the very busy morning rush and the chicken biscuits and bo rounds were all hot. Very impressed because our local one we get cold food. Decided to stop back this morning on our way out. Figured since it was 10:20 it probably wouldn’t be as good. Biscuits were nice and hot. Bo rounds were just warm but we expected that since it was later in the morning. Staff not to friendly and load in the kitchen but I still gave it a 5 because I like hot food.

The food was hot and tasted as expected. The service was quick. The men’s restroom needed a lot of work. It was filthy, even by the men’s bathroom standards.

Bo rounds were barely warm, and the chicken heads were yelling at the lady taking my payment to shut the window.
It’s a DRIVE THRU.
If they are cold, they should put on a jacket

Food was old and hard couldn’t chew it. It was cold. They did not get the order right. Fries had no season on them. I ask for extra tarter sauce I got no sauce. I ask the lady at the window to makesure my combo had it. The other combo was the way it came. Both combos was nasty. I ordered a sweet potato pie got a cold hard pie. I am not happy. Paying that much money for food that is not for my dog to eat. Almost 30$ for the order. Get it home couldn’t even eat it
