I stopped in for lunch at this Bojangles while traveling back home from a family memorial service in Virginia, and I’m really glad I did. The hospitality was awesome from the moment I walked in, and the dining room tables were clean and well maintained, which I truly appreciated.
Being from North Carolina—where Bojangles is headquartered—I was a little surprised they didn’t have Bo-Bites available. However, the cashier was friendly and helpful and let me know they’re expected to return in May, which was good to hear.
Overall, this was a great experience, and I highly recommend the South Boston location for good food, cleanliness, and excellent customer service.

Food has been good, but the drive thru workers are rude. Seems as if it’s a hard task for them to be friendly. I look forward to a good chicken biscuit but cringe a little inside when I pull up to the drive thru because I know they are going to be standoff”ish”. Customer service training would be helpful.

I was recently driving east through Virginia to the coast. Along the way I saw a bojangles on the map and decided to make it a stop for food. This one for those who’ve never been is attached to a gas station so no bathrooms in the restaurant just the gas station in the connected area. Just so you are all aware it’s not just a resturant. Now I’m a big fan of bojangles, the food, the tea, and those boberry biscuits. Yummy. Insert mouth water emoji here. Lol I got the chicken biscuit and sausage breakfast sandwich. With a side of blueberry deliciousness x2 to be exact.. When hot and fresh you cannot go wrong. My daughters both enjoyed a sausage egg and cheese. One came out with bacon instead, I went to the counter and they corrected the mistake quickly and with no issues. My wife got the chicken biscuit like I did. Both of us enjoy that it seems like real white meat and has a nice crunch to it. But also isn’t just a thin fried piece of meat. It’s thick, it’s juicy, and it’s crunchy. Then slapped between a buttery biscuit. So great for such a quick meal on the go. If you haven’t been, I recommend you try it at least once. Other chicken places don’t compare.

If they laughing to each other when you place an order at the register with the cashier and cooks preparing your dinner; like they did me, get a refund and walk away and eat in your truck. That is a glaring sign of mistrust.
I threw most of my 3 pc away. I won’t spend another dime at Bojangles if these are the type of people they hire.

Ladies just standing around on their freaking phones. The customer stood at the register and the female cashier employee never spoke to him. Neither did she speak to me until I spoke. Her phone was more important… It is a shame that Customer Service sucks the way it does. Even the so-called mature/older generation cares how customers are treated. Was never asked to eat in or to go, she assumed I was leaving, so I did just that ..
There was a young man that helped me out and because of him, I gave a star. Other than that, it would have been a 0 if I could. By the time I did the review, my food was already cold. Had to warm up in Pilot’s microwave…smh

When I order a biscuts and gravy from here, I would EXPECT it to be like every other BoJangles….already cut gravy on top and in a little container….NOT THIS PLACE…..they wrap the biscuts, put the gravy in a small container…THROW it in the bag, and to top it all off…..THROW YOUR BAG AT YOU ON THE COUNTER!!! OH, AND HERE’S THE BEST PART…..I thought she was going to keel over because she had to get me butter and jelly!!! RUDE RUDE RUDE!! THIS is what they expect me to put my biscuts and gravy in!!

My wait wasn’t long, but the food was dry and burnt and the BoBerry Biscuit is hard as a rock. I can’t believe I paid $6 for this. The only reason i gave it two stars was because the staff was very polite.
