⚠️ Extremely Disappointed with Bojangles on Peters Creek Road, Roanoke, VA
I am extremely disappointed with the experience I had at the Bojangles on Peters Creek Road in Roanoke, Virginia.
After spending nearly $50, I made it very clear — at least eight separate times — that I wanted white sausage gravy (the kind served with biscuits and gravy in the mornings). When I got home, which is about five miles away, I discovered that I had been given brown gravy instead.
I immediately called the store and was told to bring it back to exchange. When I arrived, the employee took the food that I had brought back — food that had already left the store — and placed it back into their main gravy container to reuse for other customers. That is a serious health department violation and completely unacceptable.
When I asked for my money back after having to drive back and forth and now having cold food, I was told to go home, get the rest of my food, and bring it back if I wanted a refund. I couldn’t believe it. All I was asking for was a simple $7 refund for the gravy they messed up in the first place.
I’ve been a loyal customer for years, and the manager who used to run this location always did a great job. I’m not sure when things changed, but the store is now completely disorganized, with employees who can’t clearly communicate with customers or understand orders.
This experience was unprofessional, unsanitary, and a total inconvenience — especially for someone on a 30-minute lunch break. I will not be returning to this location, and I’ll be sure to share my experience with others who value their money, time, and food safety.
You can best believe this video will be going to the health department with Gerardo’s name hooked to it
