Reviews
The starter was excellent, a delicious sourdough with butter to get thighs started with drinks. The main event however was on another level, I’ve not experienced steak like this in a very very long time. It was cooked to perfection – juicy and delicious with every bite. The flavour was there in spades, the accompanying sauces really hit the spot too. Even the side frites were delicious, crispy but somehow still fluffy and tasty.
The second round was just as fun, I don’t believe it’s possible to get bored of the flavours on offer here, I enjoyed every mouthful. The dessert menu was also very tempting – I’ll be looking to try this on a future visit
Overall the experience was amazing, I’d have no reserves about recommending Boeuf to anyone looking to try a fantastic steak filled evening
An absolute gem of a restaurant.
Food is very focused and refined, these guys know exactly what they’re about. The steak is perfec and the fries are amazing. Sauces are also a great touch and balance perfectly with both the beef and fries. The whole two plate system is also amazing, just when you get sad that a plate is empty, out comes a little plate to hit that dopamine fix again.
Cocktails are lovely and very well presented and the deserts are also refined and perfectly portioned to finish off the meal.
For the price, it’s great value. Gents running the place are super friendly and helpful.
Will be added to the frequent visits list which is a hard to come by spot.
Any one star reviews of this place are completely unjust, it’s a small cozy little restaurant for 2-4 guest with a welcoming modern vibe. Cannot fault it, they do well with the space they have.
Firmly recommended for all locals in the area looking to have a good, warm, filling meal, that tickles that meat itch.
We were met and seated by Miguel, who pretty much runs front of house. He explained how the Steak Frites Experience works, the menu, the meat, and that most of the produce is locally sourced, or made on site. For drinks, we chose the “stubby beer” and the Sweet Eve cocktail, which was amazing.
The Sourdough Bread with Boeuf Butter for “the table” was very nice. The bread was so soft.
The Steak and Frites is served twice. This is to ensure you get to enjoy the food at a good temperature. This is really a great idea, and there is so much food over the 2 servings.
For dessert, I had the Paris Brest, which was delicious.
We highly recommend this restaurant. The food is exquisite, with amazing service from Miguel. Well worth the money.
Can’t wait to go back!
