All in all this is not a bad place to hang out. It is a brewery so that means the chairs are the most uncomfortable ones that could be found.

For the food- We had the queso and salsa 6 out of 10. Chips were good and salsa was good. The queso tasted terrible. Wings-$20 for 12 is a little high but the wings are large. They need to be cooked longer as they are slimy pizza place style wings. 8 out of 10. Nashville hot chicken sandwich was 16 out of 10 on the spice level. Very, very hot. It was good though. 10 out of 10. Burger needed salt but was good. 8 out of 10.

Beer- I loved the Mexican lager. It was very good. My wife liked the porter quite a bit. The eggnog was gross. It just tasted like creamy whisky. Not a fan.

Good location with view of Sandia peaks. Beer was above average and service was good. May have just been timing but music was too loud and playlist was inappropriate for even a brewery. We did have a food so no commentary.

This place has great beer and the bar trivia is a wonderful time
Steampunk Lager too hoppy for me, but I should have read the 3/10
Drunken astronaut. Makes your eye brow twitch with bitterness upon each sip 3.5/10
Mexican lager 5.8/10
Nashville hot chicken sandwich while good and tasty, is not what I would call a Nashville hot chicken. 6.7/10
Boese Burger 8.3/10 a bit heavy on the cheese
Service is real hit or miss. They would sell mkire drinks if the had more than 2 bartenders working the entire inside and out.

Boese Bros. in Sandia Heights is a great little out-of-the-way brew pub. I discovered it after taking visitors on an evening trip to the tramway, and needed a brewsky and snack nearby. I got a recommendation from the bartender to try the Duke City Steam Style Lager. It was tops! I also went for the hot grilled turkey and avocado sandwich with vinegar chips and a hefty slice of dill pickle. It really hit the spot. I’ll be back!

This place is chill AF. Beer is pretty solid and the recent addition of their home distilled liquor is a great add. Random as it is, the pretzel is choice and a literal standout among Albuquerque. Not sure what they do to it but it’s the best I’ve had in years.

The Beer outstanding, the pretzel hot salty and full of fluff PERFECT. The Burque Turkey with Green Chilli and a Pilsner hit the spot. Warm friendly low key staff.

This iteration of Boese Bros started in November 2018. In the intervening period, this pub has become one of my go-to craft beer experiences. The service is attentive and the beer is of good quality and consistent! Up until today, I would often consider their food offerings.

But today, Boese Bros had a special I couldn’t refuse! A crab and crawfish roll! A really adventuresome dish, at least for Albuquerque. But the chef delivered! A really pleasant experience! I will definitely be on the lookout for more specials, I sure hope they keep running this pub like a boss!
