A Mexican restaurant in China Town. Find this late night taqueria and mezcal bar hidden underground, and open until 1am on weekends, and 12am every other night, including lunch / brunch Wednesday – Sunday. The $60 Feed Me menu offers great value and a huge mix of traditional Mexican street food, plus some dishes with a twist. Try a Tequila or Mezcal cocktail, or speak to our team about sipping some rare agave spirits instead. We are located on the corner of Little Bourke Street and Crossly Street, with a dimly lit bar and casual dining area perfect for both a cheeky drink, dinner, or large group celebration / function event.
Funky, informal, dimly lit bar featuring an extensive mezcal selection & eclectic Mexican fare.

From the moment we walked in, the service was absolutely excellent. The staff were warm, friendly, and genuinely attentive without being over the top — the kind of hospitality that makes you feel instantly comfortable and welcome.
The food? Simply superb. Every dish was packed with flavour, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. You can really taste the quality and authenticity in every bite. It’s one of those places where you end up talking about how good each plate is while you’re still eating it!
The atmosphere was just as impressive — vibrant, relaxed, and full of great energy. Perfect lighting, great music, and a cozy underground vibe that makes it ideal for catching up with friends or enjoying a fun night out.
And honestly, for the quality of food, service, and overall experience, the prices are very reasonable. Great value for money.
Highly recommend Bodega Underground if you’re looking for amazing food, top-notch service, and a memorable night out. Definitely coming back!
The tacos were delicious and surprisingly good. I’ll definitely come back next time to try the bottomless brunch!
The atmosphere in the place is really a vibe.
The tacos de pescado were a 10/10 with the right balance of flavours.
Totopos with guacamole were very refreshing.
Elote were ok.
The churros however were so dry and old it wasn’t even funny. Felt like I was going to break a tooth.
The “feed me” menu is defiantly worth the experience, gives a taste of a few different dishes while the cost being pretty low for the amount you get to try. Great value for money and a great experience.
