A Mexican restaurant in China Town. Find this late night taqueria and mezcal bar hidden underground, and open until 1am on weekends, and 12am every other night, including lunch / brunch Wednesday – Sunday. The $60 Feed Me menu offers great value and a huge mix of traditional Mexican street food, plus some dishes with a twist. Try a Tequila or Mezcal cocktail, or speak to our team about sipping some rare agave spirits instead. The Kingfish was amazing! Birria tacos were a highlight too, however a bit oily. The chorizo tacos and a few other items were okay, not especially interesting/ special. The service is good, and food speed is amazing however it comes out really quick! We were served within 5 minutes or ordering. We really like the churros, unlike the other comments on here, they were just the right crunch. Horchata was sub par, and they were out of zero alcohol beer. Atmosphere is too loud you can’t hear yourself speak, with people speaking really loudly + the music. The table was sticky, need better cleaning. We came significantly late due to car issues, but they managed to give us our table fortunately but it was really impossible to give them a call beforehand to notify them of the mishap as they don’t take calls at all? And didnt reply to my email when i sent it.

From the moment we walked in, the service was absolutely excellent. The staff were warm, friendly, and genuinely attentive without being over the top — the kind of hospitality that makes you feel instantly comfortable and welcome.

Nice ambience with low lighting, intimate tables, music that is loud but not too loud, good service and nice drinks. Food is really not that good – fried cauliflower was oozing uncooked batter which was really off putting. The sauce had burnt bits from the pan which was quite unpleasant. The dinner plates and cups for water that they provided were plastic which is characteristic of a low caliber venue.

Before the visit, I was a little bit worried about the fact that some of the reviews were not very positive here. But I decided to have a bottomless brunch at Bodega and the food was great as well as the cocktails. All the staff were very attentive. Highly recommended especially on Friday since it is not that busy.

Not sure why there are such mixed reviews. Came for bottomless brunch on Valentine’s Day and were blown away with the service, drinks, and especially the food. Spectacular food and every server was so sweet. 10/10 would recommend.

Good for a date night not so much for a large group. Food is delicious the standout was the corn. We had the feed me menu. The churros was not good, it was a little bit to hard for me, not as a churros should be texture wise. Overall good experience.

The tacos de pescado were a 10/10 with the right balance of flavours.
Totopos with guacamole were very refreshing.
Elote were ok.
The churros however were so dry and old it wasn’t even funny. Felt like I was going to break a tooth.

What a treat this place was! Came not expecting a whole lot and walked out very happy. Great service, and absolutely delicious food. I will be back for sure. Highly recommend the corn chips with guac and the tacos
