This bar is the definition of “looks fun from the outside, immediate regret once you walk in.” The vibe? Non-existent. The music? Think elevator playlist but somehow worse. And the drinks taste like someone googled “cocktail” and gave up halfway. The only thing mixed here are the priorities.

Service is slower than a Monday morning, and the staff seemed just as confused about making drinks as I was about why I stayed long enough to find out. Waiting 20 minutes for a drink shouldn’t feel like a personality test. Also the bartenders saying you need to leave a tip in order to receive good service was a horrible way to start an order. Usually tipping is based on the service you receive. Not the other way around.

Also — for a place that markets itself with cultural flavor, the attitude inside did not match the name at ALL. Let’s just say hospitality and respect clearly didn’t make the menu. personal property will most likely be mishandled and damaged, which did happen recently and the “oh well” response from staff was the final red flag.

If you enjoy long waits, bland drinks, and disappointing energy, this is your spot. Otherwise, go literally anywhere else.

The Food sucks!! BBQ chicken pizza so damn spicy me and my wife couldn’t eat it all… We complained about it right away and the horrible wait staff said it’s plain BBQ sauce not spicy wouldn’t do anything about it… We are in IA not Texas… Everything gets warmer the farther south you go but yuck is all I gotta say!!

The pizza and wings were great. The atmosphere was fun, plenty of seating and room for everyone.

First off the food is so salty I ate there day before st Patty’s this year, couldn’t even take 3 bites of my 15$ cheeseburger because it was so so salty, slapped together fast all condiments were scarce they don’t even ask how you like your meat(rare, well done, etc.) tables were sticky and disgusting, one group of 6 men and some with wives and they were bulligerant, loud, and racist. I have. Big afro right now I’m mixed but look white and they made fun of me to the point me and my brother and his son complained (nothing was done, they just fed us lip service the main guy that day did at least) and paid , still left a 25% tip for the waitress it wasn’t all her fault only the tables but she was so kind and gorgeous we had to tip her. Will never go again. It’s similar to a truckstop fast food place without fast anything and very little food selection. The burger looked over cooked but it looked like it was going to be good…nope the salt was insane. Here’s what my meal looked like in the pic. I would not recommend this for anything but fantasy sports meetings where it’s just drinking and eating beer snacks and selecting players for the week. Sincerely – I hope this saves at least one person the 60 bucks I wasted. Thanks for reading!
Ps. Plastic cups with coffee straws that make your lips touch the cup anyway. The waitresses aren’t proactive, they don’t check up on their table or 2 every now and then or even look to see if they are done eating or out of their drink I mean I could go on. But you get the message. Lol wrote way more than I thought I was going to!

I don’t recommend this racist and unprofessional establishment. The bouncer broke my brother’s real ID after accusing him of having a fake. When he got upset, as anyone would, they called the cops on him and then had the nerve to make a condescending post about it. My brother is 28 years old. Be serious, why would a grown man have a fake ID? Unless the real issue was the color of his skin?

We stopped here while bar hopping one night. Very modern sleek bar, clean and well kept with good service. Fantastic wings or “lollipops” as they call them.

Bodega is the perfect place to eat a pizza and have a few drinks. Quiet during the day, picks up a lot in the evening. Also the perfect place to stop before a concert at the Hard Rock.

Went here on a Wednesday night to shoot pool with a buddy. The place looks really nice inside. The pool table is nice and new pretty decent selection of draft beer I heard their food is good but pricey! I had the fries paid 6 bucks for them but they were fresh cut fries and really good. The service was decent the bartender seemed snotty and like she was having a bad night. All in all pretty cool bar younger crowd will be back.
