Friendly staff and quick service. Beef and sausages are good. Desserts are really well made. Smoked turkey is deli meat style. Smoked turkey loaf. Not what you expect when you order smoked turkey. Sides are good and there’s a condiment bar with pickles and onions.

So, I have had a cruddy day with kids and my work. I had to pick-up dinner because it was just “one-of-those-days”. I asked for extra pickles. I said “I want as many as you can give me” because most places that means I get 5-6 instead of 3-4. Omg! Did they come through. They made my cruddy day so much better because they listened to what I wanted. Ya, its just pickles, but I now even have extra to go with the leftovers!

Food was all fake! Can beans and the turkey is like a greasy ham! 22.50 for one plate and a drink. Potato salad was salt pepper and mayo….thats the flavor. So disappointing

Very courteous employees. Food was delicious. I love the way they have their BBQ Sauce is kept in warm water. If in Tyler, you must eat at this place. The whole environment is clean.

I liked the Baked Potato except I wasn’t happy with the smoked turkey that was processed and not the real stuff. It is also visible that it is processed and I try to stay away from that stuff because of dealing with breast cancer. My husband liked the ribs and our friend liked his barbecue sandwich. Very friendly people and the place has a very nice western look along with it being very clean well kept with no garbage on floors and outside of the place as well. Good Job for keeping it sanitized and healthy. A lot of Southern Part of Texas Needs help in the garbage problems and sanitization as well that can make people get very sick. A lot of people in Carrizo Springs, Texas have died I noticed and could be because of the wasters in this place along with the rest of Southern Texas that seems to be more careless but yet wares masks but yet filthy down here. Waring Masks won’t do any good if filthy. God Bless You!

We visited Bodacious BBQ in Tyler after the lunch rush and left so there were few folks left. I had the sliced beef sandwich combo with chips and pinto beans, and my wife had the sliced beef sandwich combo with coleslaw and potato salad. We both really enjoyed the food! The sauce they provided was heated with a hint of vinegar, but wasn’t overly hot or spicy. Good stuff! Plenty of seating and the space was very clean. Employees were friendly. Will definitely return.

I ordered a turkey sandwich. I thought it would be a smoked turkey breast and it was not. The meat was like a processed ham-like meat log. I will go back again, just not for the turkey. We love their Sloppy Joe sandwiches and they are half the price of the Turkey ones.

Enjoyed the Troup Hwy location for years! I would always load up on dry rub & sauce whenever visiting Tyler, as in case loads! Imagine my horror when I saw MY spot closed! Fortunately the Loop 323 is in operation. I had a Perfect rib plate dinner with my favorite date~my son. ❤️ You will NOT be disappointed! Delicious food, fun nostalgic decor, and the kind of staff you’d let your daughter hang with! REALLY.

Not the best BBQ in town. I would have given 4 star just for the jalapeños. They are stuffed with pimento cheese and the price on these are not bad. The ribs are good too. 3 stars because it was overpriced.
