Pasta was excellent! Calamari was good. Wine was good. Service was good. Overall, a good experience, other than the pasta being really good, we weren’t blown away by the service or the atmosphere.

You get “free” bread. Which is great, except it’s a very small portion, served with oil that is large enough for 5x the amount of bread.

I expected a larger wine offering than what was provided. I did find an Oregon option that was good, but for an Italian place, I expected a larger list, that would have had more variety (almost all reds were from California).

We found Bocca Osteria because it was a good halfway point to meet up with family, and it was exactly what we were looking for! The inside was decorated beautifully, and the menu had so many Italian choices to choose from. They also had a decent kids menu for my niece to pick from. I’ve had better Italian, but for the area we were in, it was good! Our server was attentive and friendly, and we appreciated that they offered to have my niece make her pizza at the table. Will definitely keep it in mind if we’re in the area again!

Absolutely fantastic. Wait staff was extremely pleasant. Kitchen staff are experts in their field. The pork chop was the best I’ve ever had. Tender, juicy, full of flavor. Just a great mean all around.

My family came back after the reopening and the space feels so much more open and airy. The food is still amazing—honestly might be even better. We were starving and only snagged photos of dessert, but for dinner I had the mushroom ravioli and it was super filling and delicious.

I tried one of their cocktails (can’t remember the name). It skewed more tart than fruity for me, but my sister liked it.

Desserts were absolutely to die for! I’m sad they dropped the crème brûlée (also to die for. I would only come to Bocca just to have it and nothing else), but the blueberry ravioli—sweet jam in a pancake-like fried dough with vanilla ice cream—was outstanding. The Cookie Vesuvius Cake had a molten center that flowed chocolate, and the tiramisu was excellent too (no pic, we inhaled it).

Overall, the service was wonderful; our server had great recommendations. I’ll absolutely be back for dinner—and honestly, I’d come just for the desserts. I hope to stop by soon!

Okay so we are here in Cooperstown, NY for the Baseball Hall of Fame but we have to eat, no? So we try out Bocca Osteria and it was fabulousa!! If you are interested Cooperstown you MUST grab a pizza here. They are individually sized at 10″. However , if you get a salad or an app it is plenty enough for 2. Had the mushroom pizza with half sausage and it was a homerun!!! Yes pun intended. It was a white pizza base with just the perfect amount of garlic and the sausage is zippy. They have a brick oven so the crust will make you cry…..in the best way. The restaurant itself is just lovely. I am going to give this a huge “must try!!”

Had lunch with friends. We each had a pizza. Mine was the Fichi (Roasted red peppers, figs, chicken, arugula, smoked gouda, mozzarella, parmigiano reggiano, and virgin olive oil finished with a balsamic glaze). It was fabulous – I’d definitely get it again. We were all happy with our meals. We had coffee and blueberry ravioli for dessert. It was a delicious lunch.

Took my parents and daughter here after visiting the Fennimore Museum on a Tuesday. It was our first time back since they renovated in June. The space is nice and bright with indoor and outdoor spaces. Great choice of wines, beers, n/a beverages, and cocktails.

We enjoyed the crostini and fig + blue cheese salad to start. My daughter enjoyed her pepperoni pizza, freshly baked in their wood oven. We had three fresh house-made pastas: fettuccini ai funghi, frutti di mare, tagliatelle bolognese. Rich with great ingredients and decent portions. We had americanos, a cappuccino and desserts including: tiramisu, cannolis, and the limoncello cream torte. Sweet, light and a perfect ending to our dinner.

Service was impeccable and my parents always enjoy the friendly and prompt service from Kelly. This is our go to spot when we are in Cooperstown.

We had a beautiful dinner the day after Thanksgiving, some of the best food I’ve had in Cooperstown since moving to CNY. We’ll definitely be back.

Listen, been eating here for over 10 years from price changes to atmospheric difference. It always feel like whoever is cooking really cares. Like not just let’s throw this together for the customer but like really wants to give you what you want and I feel like that matters. From Togo orders to I house bread and oil, I have loved it all. Thank you to the owner for the three restaurants in town, me and my family appreciate you!

Cooperstown’s go-to Italian spot. With high-quality, scratch-made pasta and pizzas, stellar service, and family-friendly ambiance, it’s a favorite for both first-time visitors and return guests. Just be prepared for it to lean slightly upscale in price—but in taste, authenticity, and experience, the value shines through.

Highly recommended for date nights, family dinners, or celebratory meals—especially if you’re craving true Italian flavors in upstate New York.
