Enjoyed dinner and some drinks here with a few friends before heading to the trail of terror in Wallingford. They had a spooky vibe going here too.
I ordered the TOSTADAS DE CARNE which included
Two crispy corn tortillas, beef, fresh guacamole, mixed greens, refried beans, and chipotle aioli for 15$ and it was Delicious . To drink I ordered a white SANGRIA for $8.00 ! It was the drink special. We also ordered chip /salsa and guacamole. The guacamole was made fresh table side which was pretty cool. Overall food was tasty and service was good.

Very few restaurants fall into a category of fine dining without the formality of stiffness and BOCCA is one of those special places that gives you find dining and makes you feel at home and part of the family.
The presentation is above average with delicious flavors in all the menu items. The decoration is inviting and welcoming with an artistic flair. The service took the dining experience to a level of sophistication only delivered by a host with experience, knowledge of cuisine and preparation plus a willingness / desire to interact with guests.
If you have the opportunity to dine here, call in advance and ask to be seated wherever Debrah (AKA GRINGA) is responsible for hosting for the evening. She is just wonderful at what she does and provides the icing on the dining experience.
We arrived as soon as they opened at 3pm (six of us) to enjoy their happy hour and we all not only enjoyed the happy hour but also ordered from the main menu. A couple of hours later the restaurant was full to capacity.
Time passed so quickly (there about 3 hours plus) that we will be back soon to enjoy their scheduled entertainment on weekdays.

We ordered Shrimp, chorizo, and mussels with the rice. The sauce was amazing!!!!!! All the flavors blend so nicely together. My husband got the barbacoa, the guava ribs were to die for, the corn with peppers was seasoned savory and sweet, we ordered a side order of yuca sticks you must order extra of the sauce for the dip cause its so delicious. The waitress was friendly and knows the menu very well, I recommend this place. Food and staff are wonderful

This restaurant was incredible. The guacamole was probably the best guacamole I’ve ever had, it was so fresh and flavorful. The churro’s were amazing, crunchy on the outside, soft and moist on the inside. I got a steak quesidlla and it was tender and really cheesy. All in all, it was fantastic

We had an exceptional dining experience at Bocca! Our large group was warmly accommodated, and the attentive waiters ensured we had everything we needed. The branzino, parrillada mixta, salmon tartar, were standout dishes, with generous portions that left us satisfied. The fresh salad and guacamole were also delicious. Drinks were expertly crafted, and the waiters’ recommendations were spot on. Prices were very reasonable, especially considering the large portions. We’ll definitely return to Bocca!

Bocca exceeded our expectations! Our big group was treated to outstanding service, with waiters who were knowledgeable and attentive. The salmon tartar and guacamole were fresh and flavorful, while the parrillada mixta and branzino were cooked to perfection. The fresh salad was a nice touch, and the drinks were refreshing. We appreciated the generous portions and reasonable prices. The waiters’ recommendations were invaluable, helping us navigate the menu. We can’t wait to come back!

I came here for the first time with my cousin for her birthday, we waited an hour before we got our food. We did notice there was only 1 waitress serving everyone so we didn’t complain but at the end of the night we were there for over 2 hours and the place wasn’t super busy at all. The service and amount of employees needs major work BUT THE FOOD IS AMAZING. I am dominican, we dominicans are big on seasoning and EVERYTHING was hot and packed with flavor. Chefs kiss on the food and atmosphere! Music was really good. Will definitely return hopefully wait is less next time

Well, they had closed the restaurant because of it being a snowy day when we initially tried to come for our anniversary. So when my bf asked where I wanna go for Valentines Day, I thought about this place again..
The flavors are on point. The food was very flavorful and definitely cooked to perfection. The mussels in the coconut broth were ahhhhmazing. I couldn’t stop eating them!! (Im not much of a coconut person) Then they put the deep fried yucca fries on top!!! It was the most amazing appetizer I have probably had in a while. The salmon with the quinoa i ordered for my entrée. Which was also to die for. I asked for well-done salmon, and oh, I got the crunch that I needed around the edges. It was cooked so well!!
The mango and passion fruit was my first drink, and I’m not gonna lie. I was a little scared to try it. It ended up being my favorite out of the two drinks that I got. I loved the flavors, and the presentation for everything was beautiful and delicate through the whole night!! The strawberry margarita did the job but could’ve had more strawberry flavoring. It felt like they just crushed fresh strawberries for the flavoring and put tequila with it, but I will say that it made it taste very strong, so that was ofcourse a positive for me. Bf got the pineapple jalapeño margarita, which was decent, and the tostones with the shredded chicken on the top, which was good also!! I didn’t get to try his quesadilla, but it looked well packed and yummy!!
The only thing I wondered while dining in was the happy hour items, which weren’t discussed, but I saw that happy hour is 3-6 on the website… I definitely can’t wait to go back. ♡ The ambience and decorations were lovely, and not to mention the workers/service was great!!

Loved the place, the food was amazing.
We had the Guac: OMG the kids enjoyed some Quesadillas but one asked for Yuka fries: delicious we tried Chicken Quesadilla, Cana (salmon): wow, the Salmon is great but the base was incredible, and Tierra (steack): so tender and flavorus.
The taste of every plate is unique and sooo delicious.
My son said when he read the menu: “I have to come back to try so many other things”.
My favorite thing at Bocca is the way they present the plates. But once you tried them, the taste beats the presentation.
A huge shout out to Cristal, who took great care of us and was super friendly
