Bocca is a chef-driven, seasonal concept kitchen created by award-winning chef, Justin Turner. This project is Chef Justin’s vision: Italy-inspired dishes honed with a home-grown American flair and flavor.
On the plate, you’ll find lively, imaginative takes on traditional Italian dishes, inflected with a local’s passion for craft and vigor: hyper-fresh, locally-sourced ingredients artfully fused into a seasonally-changing menu — all accompanied with an expert selection of Italian wine on a broad spectrum.
This is fresco flavor done fierce. Fine dining with a fang: a table where you can roll your cuffs up, take a wolf’s eye view of things, and enjoy food that leaves you feeling as amazing as it tastes.

We came here for the first time for a little date night and it was very good! We got the special Elote and shrimp pizza. Let me tell you i was thoroughly impressed with this pizza. The pizza was crispy and oh so tasty, it was so delicious actually!! We also got the Brussels and they were equally yummy!! I got the lemon drop cucumber martini that was also so good, my husband had a yellow rose beer that he enjoyed. We will be back for sure!

I came here for a Yelp event. My favorites from our menu for the event were the spinach dip and freshly made chips, they had a great crunch and the creamy dip had great chunks of spinach and artichoke. The spicy pesto pasta beat out the lobster ravioli for me but just because of the freshness of the pesto with a little spicy kick and you can tell the pasta is freshly made, the texture was impeccable. The lobster ravioli does have a lovely lemon cream sauce and they do not skimp on the lobster filling. The drinks we had cocktails and mocktails were also incredibly delicious. Highly recommend the espresso martini to finish off your meal. Service was great, friendly and was able to answer questions about dietary restrictions. The restaurant itself it spacious and open with lots of windows, making it great for a date night or family dinner.

Food and wait staff was decent. Can’t really say it’s worth the price point though.
Management is where this restaurant really falls apart. Either there was no management on staff or they just don’t care about proper training.
First and foremost when the man behind the bar grabbed a carton of juice used for cocktails, drank directly from the carton and then put it back in the cooler for what appeared to be common use, we almost just got up and left. WHO DOES THAT!?!
There not an excuse in the world you can give me that makes that okay to do. Period!
All of us at the table saw it, and had the same reaction. If the staff feels comfortable with making the drink mixers communal in public view, how is our food being handled in the kitchen?!?! I’m assuming much worse.
Again, it’s managements fault for not being on the floor to catch this kind of behavior.
Rest assured we will never be back.

Wonderful restaurant!
We held our holiday party here — they set us up in a more private area than the main floor — and the staff did a fantastic job keeping up with our group. The music was perfect for the evening and the service was top notch. Scheduling was easy and go large groups they had some great options for setting a menu in advance.
The food was excellent — portion sizes are great if a little on the large size for the chicken parmigiana, and everything was seasoned perfectly and served quickly.
The drinks off their drink menu were delicious and strong. I definitely recommend the espresso martini if you’re a fan of coffee, the Italian margarita if you like citrus, and the cucumber mint lemon drop if you love cucumber-forward flavors.
The bread pudding was very good — if you have a chance get it.

We discovered Bocca Italian Kitchen in Houston’s beautiful Redemption Square through the Amex Resy app, and it turned out to be an unforgettable surprise. From the moment we stepped into this sleek, modern space, we felt transported into foodie heaven. The highlight of the evening was meeting Celebrity Chef Justin Turner. He is not only a culinary master but also kind, humble, and deeply passionate about his craft. Everything is made from scratch, his team clearly respects him, and he still took the time to chat with us and take a selfie, which left us completely starstruck. The food was extraordinary from start to finish. The lobster pasta was silky, rich, and full of fresh ocean flavor. The crab cake had a perfect crisp exterior with a tender, luscious center. The homemade bread was warm, crusty, and impossible to stop eating. The wine pairing complemented every dish beautifully. The strawberry dessert provided a sweet and elegant finale that truly left us speechless. Every plate felt like it was prepared with genuine love. The staff were just as wonderful as the food, attentive, friendly, and clearly proud of their work, a reflection of Chef Justin’s leadership. This is more than a restaurant. It is a full culinary experience in a stunning new space, and we are already looking forward to our next visit. Chef Justin Turner, thank you for giving us an evening we will never forget. Highly recommend. Make a reservation on Resy and prepare to be amazed.

We hosted a baby shower at Bocca Italian Kitchen and everything was perfect. The team, especially the chef Justin and his crew, went above and beyond to make the day special. They were kind enough to let us use part of the Lupo side of the restaurant, which turned out to be the perfect space for our event.
The food was delicious, the service was amazing, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Justin and his team were professional, attentive, and so easy to work with.
I’m truly grateful to them for helping me give my good friend and her family a beautiful and memorable baby shower. If you’re looking for a great place to host your next event, Bocca Italian Kitchen is the place to go. Thank you again to everyone there for making our day so special.

The food didn’t quite meet expectations—it was just okay overall. The crab cake seemed like it may have been frozen, and the risotto, Brussels sprouts, chicken marsala, and lobster ravioli were fine but not standout. Service was decent; our server was in training and did alright, and the host was attentive in checking on us a couple of times.

Second time coming here and it is fantastic! Food is outstanding, asked the very lovely Victoria for recommendations and she did not disappoint. Had the off menu chicken piccata and the spicy lobster spaghetti. Everything was cooked perfectly. Staff was very welcoming and accommodating. The drinks are on point , had an old fashioned and espresso martini both done perfectly. Bocca is definetly the best Italian in the area and a hidden gem. I highly recommend coming for a date night or special evening out, it does have those fancy vibes. Great happy hour and outdoor seating. We were lucky enough to meet the chef/owner and able to tell him how wonderful our experience was. We look forward to coming back and to trying his future concepts.

First time trying this place and it was such a treat. We had spinach artichoke dip toasted to perfection on top and served with kettle chips. Mac and cheese with bacon was fire. Oh and the arancini, yum! Drinks were delicious and great price at happy hour. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and cannot wait to come back and try more food options. Some of their menus are a little torn up which should be replaced considering the price of items on the menu. That’s my only critique. I also wouldn’t mind if they added a gourmet burger on the menu because at this spot I know it would be amazing.

I live in Houston and I had this restaurant on my list for a while, but the 35 minutes to get there were definitely worth it.
The place is really chic, it has a very modern and elegant vibe. The attention was excellent, from the moment we arrived, a host opened the door for us, which I thought was super friendly, I had a prior reservation and they immediately gave us the table. Our server was very good and attentive and when he knew it was our first time he gave us his recommendations.
Food INCREDIBLE, the Garlic Bread and the Spinach Dip are delicious. The Pasta Carbonara and the pepper and parmesan pasta were super good and the cooked pasta was perfect. The Italian buffalo pizza was super delicious. I loved that the dough was thin and toasted.
The bar has a selection of local beers and drinks. I ordered a Sangria which was super refreshing.
It really was a pleasant experience and I recommend going. It is ideal for a happy hour, outing with friends, dates or any occasion.
