Everything was spectacular: the service, the atmosphere, the food. It was our first time and we loved it. The food looked fresh, it was delicious, and the presentation was incredible. Highly recommended.

I recently started working in this area and since the day of my interview i have been coming here at least once a week. This lovely spot is family owned and operated, and it shows because everything is made with love. The food here is absolutly exquisite yet comforting. Is a mix of your Dominican food, with a little bit of Italian, and other latin cuisines. The flavors are always on point, the portions are generous and of course the presentation is always nice. The service is fantastic, I love everything about this place. So if you’re looking for a home like place this is definitely your best choice in the downtown area.

We were just visiting for a quick consult and decided to stop here. We’re so glad we did. One of us ordered a Cuban coffee, which was really good, then we got the chicken plantain chip cups and the chicken empanadas – we ate ourselves sick. The prices were extremely reasonable, and I recommend splitting a couple of appetizers as the portions are generous. My only minor complaint is that we waited a little over 45 minutes for our food. Not sure if that’s part of the experience, but don’t go expecting to be out quickly. Take your time to enjoy your food!

The food and atmosphere were amazing! The restaurant is beautiful and the family who owns it are wonderful.

We ordered the trifongo with shrimp and the sancocho and loved it. We also had fresh squeeze watermelon juice that was great.

We can’t wait to go back!

I’m Cuban; therefore, I know about latin cuisine and Bocao was delicious.
I had Bacalao (Cod Fish) which was amazing.
Nicholas (the waiter) was very attentive one of the best waiters I’ve ever encountered. The Chef (owner) came out of the kitchen to greet us and when we were leaving he came out once again, and hugged us good bye. Owner and waiter were great host, great food and overall great experience.

It is a hidden gem among the government buildings and the commercial community at 501 N Olive Avenue, West Palm Beach!

The authentic Dominican food is absolutely delicious, with beautiful laid out. They really pay attention to the nuances in the presentation of dishes and cups of coffee.
The portion is perfect and decent; while the price is certainly reasonable. We could see that they have an excellent chef cooking with passion and dedication .

The ambience is pretty cosy and the place and the covered patio is meticulously clean . The Latin-style tables and chairs are well-spaced and sturdy .
The service is consistently super friendly, well-organized and efficient. Thank you to the owner and his team staffs. You all make Bocao highly commendable!
