Their general food, coxinha and pastel are very good. Our plates were wet and had food residues. We made the mistake of ordering a large pizza, it was lukewarm, the dough was soft and white. It was poorly baked. The most disappointing part was that we ordered half chicken catupiri and half calabresa. They asked if we wanted catupiri on the calabresa, without telling us that it would cost an extra $5. Their calabresa tests like hot dog and has same texture. I only took one bite of each side. I was going to leave the rest, but it hurt my Brazilian Wife’s pride and she brought it home. Now she is also regretting it. Any way, they gave us two Styrofoam boxes to stack the pizza in, even though they have pizza boxes. Last thing, please do not lean back on their chairs, back support isn’t there, they will fold back with barely any support. Now, we will stick only to coxina and pastel.

I thought that I had done a review of this place, but it looks like it didn’t post. I liked it and it’s quite authentic. Like legit Brazilians making the food, working there and if you drop by, you’ll probably hear people speaking in Portuguese. If you’re learning Portuguese or about Brazil, it’s a nice spot. Aside from the good food and the fact that there’s a real Brazilian following for this place, they’ve got Brazilian products for sale and I love the little pieces of artwork on display.
