Our server was attentive and checked in on us regularly. The appetizers took a while to come out. We enjoyed the truffle fries and cheese nuggets (I forget their name). The food came out fairly quickly after the appetizers and we were still working on them when our food came. The lemon ricotta pancakes were nice, not too sweet. The full stack was too much for me. The kids enjoyed their waffles and pancakes as well. The restaurant was busy, but new guests were seated fairly quickly.
After our server was shocked and actually admitted the food usually doesn’t look this, she took it away. Spoke with the executive chef right in front of us. Looks like the chefs ego was hurt because she just stood there and made no effort to even come apologize or ask about the food. Just kept talking to the other servers.
Our server was nice. However with a not so busy evening the service time was lacking and for such high prices on the food, I’d expect better quality to be served. Added a picture of how this “pizza” looked like. Chewy and rubbery
1. Expensive for no reason.
2. Server was the worse.
3. The kitchen doesn’t follow instructions.
4. The host doesn’t know what they are doing.
We went today 12/27/25 for brunch. We got there at 1:40 pm. They told us there was a 1 hour wait. We said ok. We sat at the front and waited. There was a 2 top table available that whole time. They never sat anyone at that table. I asked the hostess tells us they are going down the list. I said ok and waited outside again. We saw 5-6 tables leave and yet we were still waiting. 2:30 comes around and 2 people walked in and got sat immediately. I got really mad and as soon as I walked in they said if this way. Sat us on a high top super small table that barely 2 plates and 2 cups would fit.
The server took FOREVER to come. Took our order and when she asked if we had any allergies I said no but I can’t have pepper. She made a face and asked why so I explained I have an ulcer. She took our drink order and we also order the Truffle Fries. Which btw are $10 and is just a small basket of old cold fries that seems to be thrown in the microwave to heat up. Not worth it. Took them 15 minutes for those fries to hit our table.
We then put in our food order and I got the One Eye Flat Bread and asked for my egg to be Over Well (hard yolk not runny) my husband asked for the Turkey BLT avocado on the side. By that time my drink (coke) was over needed a refill. Server said nothing.
Our food comes and my eggs were over medium. Runny fully RUNNY. (Still no drink) we call the server tell her about the eggs and she took it back. They bring another eggs and they were Over Easy so SUPER RUNNY!!! I tell her again. So now the kitchen decides to get PETTY and they burned my eggs. See picture attached. If you can’t follow instructions get out of the kitchen and go work at a Fast Food. We are paying too much money to deal with a petty cook that doesn’t know how to cook Over Well eggs without making them burned and hard as a cookie.
The server never came back to the table. Never refilled my soda. She could care less. I do not recommend going to this restaurant. Save your money and go elsewhere. There are plenty of other restaurants that cook better. I think Kekes is better than this place.
No apologies, 0 customer service.
It sucks!
