Great hole in the wall burger joint. Although there is lots of seating and space inside and out. Burgers are indeed huge and priced moderately for a very large meal. Tasty and fresh. Friendly and helpful staff. Well worth the stop in.

I ordered a 2x Cheese burger with Bacon and fries. The burger was was tasty and the fries were good and hot. Classic burger joint with a somewhat dated atmosphere. The soda machine was small and only offered Pepsi products which I am not a fan of. The woman who took my order was kind and respectful. They offer indoor and outdoor seating as well.

Historic burger place- a must try if you’re in Pleasanton. The name “ain’t no lie”…. The burgers are BIG. They are Served on a sesame seed roll and very good quality meat and juicy. Ordered the fries crispy and they came out hot and delicious, very generous size. Also tried an order of

My friend and I have never been here and we both love burgers. We came here on a Friday afternoon before the school kids got out. I ordered a bacon burger with garlic fries, and a nutter butter milkshake, and my friend got a cheeseburger with fries, and a butterfinger milkshake. The burgers were definitely big but the meat lacked seasoning. The burgers were stuffed with lettuce, onion, pickles and tomatoes. I want to say I love lettuce but the burger had way too much lettuce. The burger also did not have enough special sauce so it was kinda dry despite the extra salad. To their credit they did give me a good portion of thick bacon which I appreciated. Both regular and garlic fries were okay; they also did not salt or season the fries. I did like the garlic, parsley, and cheese in my fries. The milkshake were excellent though; very rich and creamy. Overall, a nice little local place to grab a decent burger and shake, but for the value, I think you get better for the price.

the foods not bad most of the time, they often add a lottttt of lettuce and tomato even when i ask them to add less and sometimes it looks and taste like its from different fast food spot but i’m sure it’s cus they constantly higher new workers. the reason i gave it a 1 star because this place has a very interesting history of making black people wait an extremely long time for their food… one time an asian worker who seemed like a college student or teen even accused me of trying to steal the food i ordered and asked for my receipt despite me waiting til the sun literally came down and i was the very last person outside. who’s food would i even be stealing when there’s nobody else waiting..? people who ordered after me got their food earlier frequently including that day and all i’d order most of the time is a burger and a milkshake. maybe fries too but my cousins n other ppl i know waited longer 30 minutes+ when they went here before on a non busy day and it’s ridiculous that this is coming from a predominantly minority workplace. love the milkshakes tho
