It’s a road side stand, with amazing food. Everything we got was homemade, except maybe the hush puppies idk about that. Still I’ve no complaints the BBQ chicken fell off the bone , amazingly good. Sides of greens, baked beans , Mac, and corn bread all would get again. Wife got the brisket combo 2 sides and a drink 18$ . Un beatable I filled in with chicken and a side and corn bread. Total was 40$. Good people great food .

We pass by Bob’s BBQ every year on our way to VA, and today we finally stopped. We weren’t disappointed! The food was delicious (the flounder sandwich was one of the best I’ve ever had). The staff was very friendly as well. Highly recommend.

I’m from NC where I feel the best ever BBQ is made. Stopped in this place today for some lunch. Got the pulled pork and brisket and oh my goodness it was delicious. Had mac&cheese, mashed potatoes, fresh cut fries and a slice of cornbread. Had to share some with my pups there was way too much food. If your in the area do yourself a favor and get you some real good food.

Been here @ Bobs many times over several years. They have great pulled pork, brisket, ribs barbecue chicken. Love their collard greens, mac and cheese, handcut fries, as well as their butterfly fries (fresh made potato chips), salmon, crabcakes ; every year, Bob adds something else to their menu- this year it’s softshell crabs and ice cream!
Their crabcakes and potatoes chips are a little pricey, but what isn’t these days.
Would definitely recommend!

just an update. In the last three years the food here has remained consistently awesome. The chicken is the best with moist, tender breast meat. This is my favorite. Meat pulls away from the bone. The brisket, pit beef and pulled pork seem to be very popular, and I have tried them without the bread. They are excellent. The sides probably get overlooked, but the baked beans, collared greens and green beans are excellent. Rob adds some brisket in these sides which really takes it up a notch. The fried items are good as well, although I have to watch what I eat. Smoked salmon, Italian sausage, fried clams.. What’s not to like. The fries seem very popular but I am not able to have those. Have I mentioned the chicken is really, really good ? Give this place a try.
I go there frequently. I have never had chicken like they do it there. Nothing fancy. They just know how to smoke meat. Great flavor and so tender it practically falls off the bone. The ribs are also fantastic with bbq flavor from the smoke. If you are a fan of pit beef, this is the place for you. I actually prefer food trucks. Don’t let that hold you back.

The soft shell crab sandwich was AMAZING! Super friendly staff. They go a massive menu and everything looked (and smelled) so good. We are happy with everything we tried, and surely will keep coming back to work our way through the menu.

We ordered a large brisket order by the pound for a very special family event and everyone was simply delighted! The meat was tender, juicy and such a delicious flavor! Our guest kept asking if we made it! Lol! Bob and family were very nice and helpful with our preorder,(a week in advance due to the size of the order). We can’t wait to order the ribs next time. Many thanks and we will be ordering from you for years to come, even if it’s just a sandwich pick up. If you love good BBQ, then look no further. Highly recommend!

Great food ready fast, friendly people, pleasant seating area, good condiments. We had the pulled pork, brisket and chicken: all were tasty, as were the sides. Green beans were a highlight for me but my friends really liked the mac n cheese and coleslaw. The cornbread was just the right amount sweet and moist.
