This a a very nice little place that has been around a long time. The service is great and everyone is very nice. The menu is a great size and from what I see and hear the soup is delicious, however I haven’t tried it yet. I got the roast beef sandwich with the horseradish sauce and it was delicious the sandwich itself is not very big but they do pack what is there very nicely. Great place for a quick bite.

trying something new. The wide variety of soups they offer daily are yummy and look forward to their seasonal soup specials. If you pick up your order you are always greeted with a friendly smile. If you order delivery online and they are running late or have a question about your order. They pick up the phone and call you and your food is delivered with that same welcoming smile. I’ve ordered delivery food from many restaurants and the delivery people are great but 8 out of 10 times there was an issue with my order. I have never had that experience with Bobettes. They have never forgotten to put all the items ordered in the bag. I have never had soup leaking and when I order coffee they wrap the coffee cup in plastic and everything is packed perfectly. I’ve received deliveries from other restaurants food leaking all over the inside of the bag, missing requested item’s or not prepared the way I ordered on line. Happy Bobettes customer!

The array of delicious soup choices will surprise you! Always a few standbys, but also a very nice variety of creamy bisque & stew & broth-based options. I intend to try the beckoning sandwiches someday, but as yet, I’ve never made it past those terrific soups!

Some days when you are feeling under the weather (like today), the best thing is a good soup and sandwich to help you along. Bobette’s is the perfect place if that’s what you need. The Orzo soup has always been my go-to, but I also tried the Chicken Pot Pie soup today which was excellent and had a Turkey, Bacon, and Cheddar panini alongside for lunch. Definitely the highlight of my day! My only regret is I didn’t buy bigger containers for dinner! Bobette, Gary, and the staff are also very nice people.

For a take out only place, they really messed up the order, so double check before leaving. Some of the sandwiches weren’t the right ones, & they didn’t hear us order the chowder, so I went back. The sandwiches were definitely serviceable (not blown away, but good enough), and the Mussel Chowder was as good as advertised!

Called for a burger & soup and was told “10-15 minutes”. Show up 25 minutes later and don’t even think they had started making it yet. Stood there for a good 5-10 minutes and walked out. I’m sorry but you guys clearly need more help in that kitchen, because that’s unacceptable.

The best soup and sandwich place anywhere. Always fresh made and hearty soups. Perfect portions. Get the quart size soups to take home to share. Everyday specials. Very reasonable prices.
